The way I edit in Premier in not with individual avi files, I use AVS scripts. Basically you put your VOBs into DGIndex (part of the AMVapp) and it converts them into d2v files. Agreed. I found a Video Capture Card at Fry's electronics for $30. Just plug a yellow RCA cable in and hit the record button on the application then start the scene you want to rip.
