Not a fan of the whole AI upscale thing but I appreciate the color correction and Broadcast audio. Shame they couldn't get the masters and had to rely on basically ripping DVDs.

Closest I can recall was around the time he was making (I think it was Jaco) digitally drawn manga and the struggles with that.

The bits we get (from toyotaro) about the fixes and suggestions from Toriyama are pretty insightful tho.

This isnt so much about what masters would be used but more about space.

I've been a big fan of Discotek's full series in SD on one or two discs. I would love if more places started doing this more. It would allow for more audio and bonus features and it saves a lot more space!

I already own the complete collection in Brazilian Portuguese, but today I came across the original Japanese edition of the first volume and couldn’t resist buying it. It looks amazing :D

I think for me, I'm with the OP. After the next arc is done in the manga. I'm pretty much done with Dragon Ball. I appreciate the stuff that's come out, but for me, it's getting to be too much in the "gotta have it all" sense.

Little bump here, I'm considering buying some of the old Funimation DVD singles on ebay but I see that in many cases some of the discs are reflective and some of them are not. Is this normal? Are both legit? Here's an example:

I was just think about how Toriyama played with Goku and Piccolo being an alien near the end of Dragon Ball. Clearly, it wasn't the case for early Dragon Ball since its main focus was playing on Journey into the West.

So, at some point, It's easy to assume Grandpa Gohan was Goku's biological ...
