Yeah, I understand how it could be just a rumor that he wanted to stop at those places. Maybe it is just our own opinions and thoughts, but who knows? I have no sources to cite on this information, I can only say what it appears to be in my mind.

The only intended endings I've seen proven are Pilaf, Freeza, Cell, and Mystic Gohan Vs. Super Buu.
