Re: The Z-Senshi barely ever see each other
I've thought about this as well before. Tenshinhan and Chaozu, as far as the manga is concerned, have barely spent any time with Goku in all the years they've know him. Not even a week's' time. Some friends.

Re: Dragonball Back in the Day
I really miss my Sunday nights, watching DBZ in raw Japanese on the International Channel back in the late 90's. I would always look forward to that.
Ditto, except I was watching GT, which made it even more awesome, because I was watching something that wasn't even out in English.

I'd just like to point out that the "Yamcha" spelling has been used in Japan prior to FUNimation's English dub even existing. Hell, Toriyama has spelled it that way. Check Daizenshuu 1.VegettoEX wrote:"Yamcha" and "Krillin" are at least FUNimation English dub names.

I've been wondering similar things about people who were on the podcast a while ago like Scott Melzer, Meghan, Napier and Corey- specifically the latter, he had over 3000 posts and was a recurring guest on the podcast but he hasn't posted for over a year. He's still Slut of the Daizenshuu EX Family ...

Re: Is it "Boo" or "Buu"?
I used to use "Boo" because I would blindly follow everything Steve Simmons did in the subtitles, but now that I've actually researched it myself, I use "Buu." I think I remember reading this in Herms' name pun guide, but I think the "Boo" in "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" spelled as "ブー," while the ...

Re: Bulma or Blooma?
Had Toriyama written 'Tranks' on Trunks' coat would we all use that instead?
Probably, because that spelling would've ended up on Japanese merch and stuff, eventually carrying over to future dubs. We wouldn't bat an eyelash at it.

Re: Dragon Ball plotholes and your theories!

What about this one? When Cell is explaining his history to Piccolo, why does he imply that Trunks was the killer of Freeza and his father? If Cell is from the original, "ruined future" timeline, it would've been Goku instead.

Where's the error? His birthday is officially in May. It was April at the start of the arc. He was still 16. The real error is Goten's age.

I've seen some people dispute this before, but keep in mind that we do see him eating, drinking coffee and sleeping, in the actual manga.Herms wrote:8 is said to be human-based in the daizenshuu, like 17+18, but nothing more specific is given.

Re: Anybody Else Bothered By GT'S Dolltacki Character?
I'm more offended by the laziness of someone who TALKS to DOLLS being called DOLLTACKI than anything else about him.
That would be like "hey look, it's Gohan's dad, KamehamehaThrower".
Actually...
