Heyo,
I noticed that the transcribed lyrics to DAN DAN 心魅かれてく has a minor error.
http://www.kanzenshuu.com/lyrics/ja-dan_dan/
On Kanzenshuu the line reads: 「子どものころ 大切に想っ てた 景色を思い出したんだ」
Instead of the correct: 「子どものころ 大切に想っ ていた 景色を思い出したんだ」
Very minor, just missing that " い " after the "て" before ...

Re: Manga UK Re-releasing DBZ Seasons Into Seperate Parts
I'm aware it came out a while ago and that's why I mentioned it came out in February.
But judging on a quick search through Kanzenshuu and Manga UK there is no mention of it, which is why I've brought it up here.
I don't see how this release is a good idea. I'm not just crapping on it but who'd ...

Manga UK Re-releasing DBZ Seasons Into Seperate Parts
This is probably not much of a newsworthy story but it might be worth a mention:
With the news of Manga UK acquiring the licences to the Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT "Season Sets"
has this re-release ofDragon Ball Z gone under the (dragon) radar here on Kanzenshuu, and elsewhere?

Re: Initial Reaction to Nozawa as Goku
My introduction to Masako Nozawa was playing Final Bout in 2000.
My reaction was very postive - "Of course! That's how Goku sounds in Japanese, cool!".
But now the line goes "Of course! That's how Goku sounds [full stop] ".
I loved her vocal range between forms, and how damn cool she made Super ...

Re: Creating your dream cast for DB
Whenever I listen to 「Ya」 na Koto ni wa Genki-Dama!! I think it'd be pretty funny to hear Hironobu Kageyama as Goku.
Yeah, obviously he's a singer with some limited acting experience, and his voice would be a huge difference from Nozawa's, so perhaps it wouldn't be the best fit but he's very a ...

Re: Is it just me or is GT more popular than DB?
A lot of people think that if it's Dragon Ball and it ain't got blonde haired muscle men, or red furred muscle men with monkey tails, or it doesn't have the letter "Z" tagged to it then it ain't worth their time.

Re: Have you ever mark out for a character?
Other fandom has used marked before. Cheering and going crazy does kinda make sense lol. I explained what marking out means and people did post moments where they did mark out even if hey are not familiar with the term.

Re: Have you ever mark out for a character?
"Marking out" is Pro-Wrestling terminology for when you cheer or go crazy for a particular wrestler. Wrestling fans have been referred to as *Marks or Smarks for many years now. The phrases really shouldn't be used for any other fandom because 1) It makes no sense 2) Non-wrestling fans will not ...

Re: Kenji Utsumi, passed at 75...
Aw man, that's sad. Just yesterday I was watching DBZ Episode #66 and I was thinking about how much I miss hearing his voice in Kai and the lastest line of games.
The new guy in Kai is probably the only 'new' voice I can't get used to. It's not that the other guy's bad, it's just when I see Recoome ...

No actual full-length English version exists. I doubt FUNimation could have easily got the rights to create one, it'd mean

Re: How do you personally pronounce "Saiyan"?
I was going to apologize for being "rude" but then I realized I stand by every word I said. Perhaps "harsh" is a little better, I'm not trying to pick apart your words here, it's just that I feel I made a point to people and it was ignored so I had no choice but to adopt a harsh attitude to bring to ...

Re: How do you personally pronounce "Saiyan"?
You've all missed the entire point of my post. I'm not on about what it means , although I made the joke about 'does Thanos translate it?' - that wasn't point at all.
I'm on about the way it is said . At the end of the day it's a Japanese word, we say "Ma-jin" just fine so why not "Saiya-jin". When ...

Re: How do you personally pronounce "Saiyan"?
'Saiyajin' seems a bit daft--I mean, no one says humajin or namekjin.
So, what do you do when in a situation where you need to say "Ma-jin"?
Do you translate it or do you just say "Ma-jin" like everyone else? - [EDIT] Since people fail to interpret things properly, I must state that this right ...

In order to end this discussion, here is a screenshot from the episode. The orignal assertion was that it was the CW4Kids/Toonzai/Vortex version that aired in the US. It is not, as you can see from the topic on that version there were numerous changes including recoloring the bullet Raditz catches ...

I already know I'm right.
But that doesn't help anyone else now does it? It's one person's word against another. If you check
my last post I edited it to make it clear that I thought I heard it whilst Raditz was talking.

I don't know what Kix you're watching, but I don't think its the same as mine. For the record, I have the episode recorded and the Farmer does not whimper, Raditz catches the bullet, makes his little speech, then it cuts to him noticing Piccolo's power level with only the sound of the exploded ...

Re: DBZKai comes to the UK
From what I can see in the episode and what is listed in this thread , I'd say it's the US NickToons version.
You could be right but I'm not sure because thinking about it, I wouldn't mind betting that it's entirely new edit just for the UK.

Well Kai has just gone off-air. It was the first 2 episodes, back to back, and it appears to be [EDIT:] based upon the Nicktoons edit, except Farmer's death was edited out entirely.
