Re: Have any of you played the DBZ RPG games for NES?
Thanks for the information. I had played the SNES version and liked aspects of the game (not so much the dungeon crawling). When I found out there were other games I looked into it. Seems like they could be some fun if I get around to playing them.

I guess they're known as the Gokuden series? Just wondering what your thoughts were on them if you've played them. Best way now is probably through emulation.

We're getting another Kikoho. And at that end of the day that is all that really matters.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread
I just hope this next film actually has a solid narrative that is also engaging. I really don't want another film where the characters are parading around for an hour plus doing nothing.

An RPG? You've to much expectations, how much budget do you think DBZ get?
You can make a quality game without a high budget. It's more about the actual substance of the game than the actual form of it. We've had games in the past without high budgets become extremely successful.

Re: Are you tired of Dragon Ball fighting games?
You can't have a Dragon Ball game without fighting. If it isn't a fighter, it can still work, but you have to keep it true to DB. Most people don't buy the games because they're looking for a really fun video game to play because it's considered one of the best out there. Most buy them to recreate ...

Are you tired of Dragon Ball fighting games?
Maybe the majority don't feel the same way, but I've been disappointed for the last 10-15 years that 90% of the many Dragon Ball games out there are fighting games. It's gotten to the point that I feel developers are simply trying to cash in on a quick buck by making fighting game after fighting ...

Re: Tree of Might - the Saban dub
I actually loved The Ocean Group voices. I've seen a lot of the same actors and actresses in other anime and I think they did a much better job than the second unit that took over once Funimation took over from Pioneer. Of course, the doctored episodes from Pioneer were awful and I can't stand a ...

Re: Are there any characters you actually hate?
Vegeta. I always found him to be quite obnoxious. Really, he falls into the same category as "former enemy to become friend of Goku." It just takes him a lot longer. I think his motivations for acting the way he does are logical within the context of the story and it's good that he stays true to ...

Re: Is Kuririn the most underrated Dragon Ball character?
To me, Kuririn is the most underrated Dragon Ball character. I know there isn't that much legitimate Kuririn-bashing so to speak (at least compared to lesser characters like Yamcha, or Chi-Chi) but he still gets a large amount of undeserved disrespect from the fanbase, and people under mind his ...

Re: Dragon Box vol. 2
I have the entire English manga series from Viz, which seems to be quite accurate to it's Japanese heritage. I like the anime, while not as much as the manga...I still like it even with some of it's filler. Since it's the same story though I wonder if I should even invest money into getting these ...

Wow up to $1000. That's ridiculous.
