The only thing that's torn is the blue ad band that came with the book, not the actual book. The ones I've seen for sale don't come with those at all, so I don't think a torn one can detract from the value. Not if you're starting from the value of a band-less copy, anyway.

So, any thoughts? I have volumes 1-5. At least vols 2, 4 and 5 still have the little "DB News" pamphlets inserted, I'm not sure about the other two. All 5 still have the colored bands around them... advertisements and stuff I think, but, whatever they are, they're ...
