None of FUNimation's Dragonball products have ever been made legally available to purchase in England or mainland Europe.
Oh. That's news to me. Sucks for them.
Yeah, well that's the weird thing: We can't get the orange bricks or the Dragon Box, but for some weird reason we DO get our own ...

Re: Dragon Box disc holder problems
I've taken the discs out a dozen times by now.. But they're still stuck. I literally have to pull 3 sides of the disc as hard as I can before it jumps out

Dragon Box disc holder problems
So I just received my Dragon Box 2.. But when I opened it I found out that the disks on the right side, where there's only 1, don't come out like they should; It's like they're stuck. Even when I push the little '' push button '' as hard as I can, it feels like the disc could break into pieces any ...

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
It must be legit; I've been waiting 30 days for my order to ship, so yesterday I sent them this pretty frustrated email about me worrying this set being discontinued, and got the following reply from Axelmusic:
''Oh my, this is very bad!
I will personally MAKE SURE this item ships within the ...

Re: Black Bars or No Black Bars?
I don't know why but I can't stand black bars on the side as well.. I wouldn't even watch the Dragon Box on a widescreen actually for that reason! I'm very happy to still have my little old 4:3 TV

And my Axelmusic order status is still '' on backorder, we will try to find other suppliers ''. Why the heck would it take over 25 days?

Well, I think I actually prefer this Bulma over any other dub I've heard. Can't say the same about the rest of the casting though

If you're a hardcore dub fan, go for Kai: It's the only accurate dub out there.
If you're not too familiar with the japanese version but willing to give it a go, buy the Dragon Boxes. they're amazing

Re: If YOU could have ANY Dragon Ball stuff, what would it be?
I would really really really love to have a version of DB Kai with Kikuchi's score, the original Dragon Box footage and without the reanimated scenes.. simply Z without filler.
Some original Toriyama sketches would be great too

Re: Goku's Japanese voice
Another good example is Edward Elric from FullMetal Alchemist.
We see him ranging from 11-18 years in the anime, always keeping the same voice (voiced by the great voiceactress Romi Paku) and I never heard a single soul complain about it o_O
Not to mention his little brother who doesn't sound ...

The (lack of) variety of weather and skies in DBZ
Something just came to my mind.. In Dragonball and early DBZ there seems to be a much wider variety in enviroments and skies then later on in the series. For example, In Dragonball there were lots of night scenes, and occasionally there was rain. There were also beautiful sunsets, which in my ...

Re: Filler you miss...
There were certain episodes where I thought they over did the removal of certain filler/padding.. Some of the best examples I can think of are the Saiyan arc, where we really didn't get as much character development from Gohan, and right before Vegeta and Nappa arrived I didn't get the same ...

Re: Is this how Kai should have looked?
Why even reanimate this? It looks just as crappy as the original. Raditz' face could have been touched up. His ears could have been edited. But they kept everything pretty much the same
That's the problem, it IS the same, it looks all right when it's old, grainy cell animation, when it's traced ...

Does anyone have a good clip of Peter Kelamis's Goku? I don't think I've really heard it before. I searched on Youtube but there were only some short parts of fights so I couldn't really hear the ''Goku side'' of him

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
I'm also starting to worry.. I ordered Dragonbox 2 from Axelmusic on the 1st of september, at that time the availability said 0-3 working days.. Since that day I've had about five updates stating '' still on backorder with the supplier'' . Today, after 20 days I finally got another update: ''Still ...
