The Madman release? They're all edited (the episodes at least, don't remember for the films), except for the last couple of Cell Games volumes. The US release is the same there pretty much where only the first 5 had an edited variant ...

The New Zealand airings on TV3 also differed from the Australian airings. They got the Dale Kelly eyecatches that were seen nowhere else, and apparently the scene where Vegeta kills Guldo was completely cut.


There was many more cut out throughout the whole series on the TV3 airing, made it hard ...

Saw that a few days ago. Certainly making the price tag for the 30th Anniversary set I paid look cheap in comparison. lol Especially if that's the AU price already and will be a tad higher for the NZ release.

My set just arrived and it's exactly as I expected. Aside from the outer box, everything else is exactly the same as the USA release (and Manga UK as well I assume. Haven't actually seen any photos of that anywhere):

Not sure if it was already shown but just discovered there were additional screenshots on the Madman listing showing what the outer packaging is like. So at least it's looking like a nice sturdy package for everything:

I had a feeling it'd happen too. At least the packaging would be more durable than what the 30th set is, but I already have custom covers in 4 disc (5 for S9) BD cases ready for when my set arrives, whenever Madman NZ send it out.

But if that day ever comes, don't know how long it's been since I actually **watched** the series and not tweaking it, probably when the last FUNi DBOX came out (so getting to 10 years).

I noticed that also. I do wonder how many they got exactly, cause it doesn't sound like a number where it could be comfortably split to different suppliers (Sanity AU, Mightyape NZ) if FUNi only reportedly made 6000 sets.
