But you must admit that it helped, when you were on those last couple of reps, the last minute of cardio or when you just could not be bothered to go gym?

Goku's mentality inspires us all, I don't think it's silly, and if it can get us to the gym the it's certainly worth holding onto!

Majin_Steve that is quite interesting, was the idea to go to ...

Re: Dragon Ball Training

When I was a kid, I used to jump around on my trampoline all day in attempts to harness my ki.
LOL!! I used to tense my muscles as hard as possible to try and raise my power level, one day something popped (nothing bad I hope) and I told my gran I had successfully increased my power :D

But I find ...

Dragon Ball Training

Has anybody here been motivated to train due to the Dragon Ball series'? I started my training in September and am now training to go into MMA, and I put this all down to Dragon Ball, it's amazingly motivating! Has anyone been doing this for a while? What have you accomplished since taking on this ...

Re: Dragon Ball Watching Order Guide

I didn't even realise that! Fixed it now :)

Also I made a slight change in putting movie before movie 8, I think that way is more consistent. I'm sure there must have been a reason I did it the other way but I honestly can't remember, at the moment this order makes more sense to me

Re: Forms of a Super Saiyan

Trunks was never SSJ2. I think you mean dai san dankai for him.

You're right, I didn't even realise that wasn't SS2, in which case I guess it makes more sense that the dai san dankai was an exertion of power thus increasing the physical energy (thus the hair going up), while SS2 is again a form ...

Forms of a Super Saiyan

So as apart of my Dragon Ball journey, I had many theories on things that happened during the series's and the first I'm going to put out is my theory on the forms of the Super Saiyan.

Firstly, the 'Pseudo' Super Saiyan from movie 4. Obviously we know that wasn't the actual form of a Super Saiyan ...

Re: Dragon Ball Watching Order Guide

I think the Bardock could work quite well dramatically if it were say a 2 hour movie about Freeza's reign and destruction, but like Gaffer Tape said, there's more than 200 episodes in between which equates to over 24 episodes, disregarding the fact there are many big story lines in those 24 hours ...

Re: Dragon Ball Watching Order Guide

Chronologically speaking this would make sense, but is it really the right way to watch it? I feel like watching it after the episode where Vegeta gets killed by Freeza and before Goku starts his fight with Freeza is the right time to watch it, just as Khanage put it. That way you know the ...

Dragon Ball Watching Order Guide

So since I restarted my Dragon Ball journey early last year, I was frustrated by the fact that I couldn't find a simple guide for viewing order on the internet in terms of movies and specials, so I decided to make my own. Now that I've finished all the series: Here it is

Dragon Ball:
Emperor Pilaf ...

Re: English music kills the emotion!

Well I just finished GT and can conclude, despite how emotional the ending was, I still haven't got a clue what version of Saw Men a thought he was composing for.

Help from the Kanzenshuu community: I need your DB expertise

So I had a MENTAL idea. I have a rooted android device and discovered it is fairly easy to change my startup animation. So I decided I wanted a quick animation of Goku powering up to super saiyan, and standing there while his aura keeps glowing. It is perfectly doable, however I need the right scene ...

Re: English music kills the emotion!

I wouldn't say it kills the emotion, more like it gets the emotion wrong. Sometimes there is a complete lack of understanding over what a scene is about.

For example, Goku becoming a Super Saiyan for the first time isn't just some scene where he's being really badass, it's a horrifying ...

Re: English music kills the emotion!

I didn't know there were different composers but I did notice it was a different style to the DBZ english music. Well thanks Menza for a dead out soundtrack, he didn't even try to make it sound the slightest bit sad, it was just the same as every other scene. I can't wait to buy the 'Complete Series ...

English music kills the emotion!

So I still haven't finished watching Dragonball GT (no spoilers please) but I was appalled when Piccolo died for the simple reason that the music in the background sucked the emotion right away from the scene. It wasn't fitting at all! So far, the English music seems to make EVERYTHING just sound ...
