Re: FUNimation's Dragon Boxes have indeed been discontinued
5-7 are still available at various sites, but they are still out of print so buying in ASAP is better. I highly doubt you are going to find a good price for it by year's end.

Re: FUNimation's Dragon Boxes have indeed been discontinued
Are volumes 3,5, and 6 worth anything yet? They're the ones I managed to get for cheap and i'm just waiting until they skyrocket like the others so i can sell them for more.
5-7 are still in circulation at various sites so not really. Amazon still has them in stock for $32 so no one is going to ...

Re: GT: The Complete Series
I knew that they put two seasons together before, but it was those two separate products under a basically discard-able piece of paper. The Complete Series is suppose to be a separate product from Seasons 1 and 2 but mine's not :( Kind of feel jipped but hey, it has all the episodes and movies to ...

I don't mind her Gohan at all. Either one works for me. I don't like her 18 though. I just love the way Meredith did 18.

Huh, I've ordered with MovieMars before and haven't had any problems. If you already have one I don't see the need to get another one...unless you want to try and make a small profit on it.

Re: Anyone not buying Kai?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who has no interest in owning it. I admit some of the battles are awesome with no filler (mainly Frieza), but there are quite a few filler episodes that I love like where the Ginyu Force shows up on King Kai's planet and the Other World Tournament. But for me the big ...

Re: FUNimation's Dragon Boxes have indeed been discontinued
I checked Amazon this morning and Dragon Box #7 is no longer sold by Amazon. The same goes for Dragon Box #3. 5 & 6 are the only ones still left.
Well it's back up now, ordered it myself. Was able to snag 5-7 yesterday. So that leaves me with just 1 and 4 left. Oh this will be a fun wait ...

Anyone not buying Kai?
Just kind of curious. Are there any people out there who are not buying Kai on DVD/Blu-ray for reasons OTHER THAN watching it online or downloading it.

GT: The Complete Series
Kind of confused here. I have seen videos of the Complete Series on Youtube like this one:

However, the one I bought is totally different. The ones my Walmart have feature a slip cover where the DVD's come out of the top or bottom and behind the slip ...

Amazon is not the only retailer in the world. Settle down, other sites have them listed as back ordered. more are coming.

Re: Favourite GT Scene/Fight/Saga
I liked the show as a whole. Revenge of a Tuffle was an interesting plot to go with and the Shadow Dragons Saga was a very good idea. It was nice to kind of see what would happen if they were ever used too much. Only complaint is the Super 17 saga. I loved the battle with Super 17, but the villains ...

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
I doubt Amazon is going to stop stocking them in the long run. It just seems that Number 2 is selling well. Best Buy has them listed as Back Ordered meaning they don't even have enough to fill current orders.

They are the exact same as the originals. All they are are two of the boxsets shrink wrapped together and an extra piece of paper on the front that isn't part of the box.

Re: So, how are the Dragon Box Z's sales?
Honestly, it's not an issue for me.
I never shelled out any money for the Season Sets or any other DBZ DVDs prior, since I was always waiting for a better release, and it finally paid off. I was aware beforehand of cheaper prices online, but I'd always much rather buy my stuff at a store if I have ...

Re: Dragonbox Volume 2
What the heck?... It doesn't even say "Out of stock (more on the way)" like it does when things are normally out of stock... This doesn't mean... that FUNimation is discontinuing these sets after a set amount of time does it? Or is Amazon just not carrying this set anymore due to poor sales or ...

Re: Movie DVD Questions
This question seems to get asked a lot. But my answer is always: definately get the double features. They're cheaper and look better visually. What more could you want?
Well the remastered season sets didn't have the best visuals so I didn't know if the Double Features did. I don't want blurred ...

Movie DVD Questions
I was going to start finally collecting the remainder of the DBZ movies (I only have Movie 7) and was wondering if I should get the original DVDs or the Double Feature ones?
