GT: The Complete Series

Post by Goten2008 » Tue Mar 06, 2012 5:25 am

Kind of confused here. I have seen videos of the Complete Series on Youtube like this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNAO7CzAEEY

However, the one I bought is totally different. The ones my Walmart have feature a slip cover where the DVD's come out of the top or bottom and behind the slip sleeves are just the season one and two sets combined under one slip sleeve. I was just wondering if this was normal nowadays (since the set was released a year and half ago) or if it was like a discounted set and not the new normal one.

I don't think that answers anything. Of course Goten2008 is aware of that set, or else wouldn't be asking about it.

I've seen this version at Best Buy, but yeah, Walmart definitely does the whole "Stick two season sets in one slipcase" thing.

Yeah, Wal-Mart does this with a lot of DVDs for series (see: the Kai parts 1 and 2 bundles, two-season orange and blue bricks), likely so that their video department can keep prices low.

I knew that they put two seasons together before, but it was those two separate products under a basically discard-able piece of paper. The Complete Series is suppose to be a separate product from Seasons 1 and 2 but mine's not :( Kind of feel jipped but hey, it has all the episodes and movies to can't complain too much.
