Re: Is Dragon Ball Z Kai coming to the Netherlands?
I’ve posted a screenshot on your Facebook page, I contacted them through instagram as they look a lot more active on that page and was told they would look into which dub it is and they will get back to me, was also told it would be streamed on another Dutch site called “video land”. I responded to ...

Re: Is Dragon Ball Z Kai coming to the Netherlands?
The fact they are independent from Crunchyroll and funimation means there is a chance they could opt for the ocean dub. Just like how kix could have opted for it and I stress back then fans didn’t make themselves heard and this along with other factors meant we ended up with funimations dub. A ...

Re: Is Dragon Ball Z Kai coming to the Netherlands?
I saw your post on Facebook and had to see if this is being discussed yet. The fact it’s a streaming service in a region that aired the Westwood dub is a good indicator but we need to find out more about this streaming service are they a branch of abgroupe or funimation/Crunchyroll as I feel that ...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" Dub Turns 14; Still Unreleased
No problem dbzforeverUK .
Crunchyroll can't do anything and isn't going to do anything. Toei can't make uninterested Canadian networks air a show that's about to be 3 series out of date. Best hope at this point is Toei dumps it off on Tubi or PlutoTV
Poland just got Kai on TV for the first ...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" Dub Turns 14; Still Unreleased
I’ve just been doing a bit of looking around and Crunchyroll can be messaged on instagram so it’s worth a shot right? The reason I mentioned Shenmue 3 earlier was because this dub of Kai has now entered that sort of limbo and thanks to everyone here discussing it and putting time into trying to ...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" Dub Turns 14; Still Unreleased
Can anyone confirm if Crunchyroll has released anything Dragonball related in Canada because if not it might be able to be distributed there if I’ve read everything else right?
Canada gets all the same home releases as America, so yes. At this moment Crunchyroll has released Super Hero and ...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" Dub Turns 14; Still Unreleased
I can't speak for home video release much outside of the hope that a kickstarter or a concentrated drive would push Crunchyroll to do it.
However, I do know that all it requires is an interested Canadian broadcaster, committed to acquiring the dub.
Marni Shulman was in talks with Ken Morrison ...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" Dub Turns 14; Still Unreleased
Yes, the Dragon Ball anime is ultimately TOEI's property but this Kai dub belongs to Ocean, they are the ones who produced it, its up to them to get it out (which sadly hasn't been the case yet).
I don't see why Crunchyroll should be against getting this dub released, they created a separate ...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" Dub Turns 14; Still Unreleased
Doesn’t matter how it done but using contacts like Lisa Yamamoto to confirm what fans would need to do to get Toei’s attention or Andy Hanley to see if he could push for it on our behalf.
Regarding Andy Hanley, for those of you that don't know he's the marketing guy at the UK's largest ...

Re: Ocean Studios' "Dragon Ball Kai" Dub Turns 14; Still Unreleased
I would also support of limited physical release and I think with enough support from the DragonBall community we could make it happen. Similar to how Shenmue 3 got released, there was a massive community drive to get it off the ground, and they had to wait for 18 years to get there game.So it can ...

Re: DBZKai comes to the UK
Makes me wonder if the Ocean dub of Kai is a hoax played out by certain voice actors, either way how the Funimation dub made it to the UK without any mention on there website amazes me. They are normally the first to report anything about there dub's/productions airing.

Re: DBZKai comes to the UK
Uncut Ocean dub? I remember the 2nd half of the Westwood dub using words like "kill"and "die" Plus things have changed over the last ten years or so.Parents don't make such a big deal about there children hearing those words these days, heck GT was uncensored here.

Re: Dragon Ball coming to the UK?
Most probably the Ocean Dub DvDs of Z or Kai? Most cast lists on Anime DvDs tend to be wrong before release so it wont be a Funimation release,i have emailed the BBFC about this matter.

Anyways, Ya know, every time I see this topic has a new post I always click it hoping there's a clip or some official news or... something. But, there never is.
I agree, I keep coming here for the special news and it's just debating and arguing. I want it here already :(
