None of what I posted was to imply my personal preference nor agreement with either side of the coin.

A being that is stronger than a Super Saiyan parading around for months slowly slaying the population doesn't make any sense in regards to his intent on ridding the universe of humans/sentient beings/mortals. Have not posted here in a very long time. Here's a piece I did for a convention recently.

Back in 96' I owned random pieces of Dragonball merchandise of which featured illustrations and/or screen captures of this particular scene. By this time, I had only seen the first 13 edited episodes of Dragonball, and the first two seasons of the Ocean Dub. You can imagine the wonder and excitement ...

I presume the whole androgynous approach to their design is to imply that they are 'alien'. Transvestites, transsexuals, and those of the androgynous nature are still considered to be taboo in some cultures. It is an uncommon way of life and foreign.

That's my take on it.
