I have memories of people thinking for years and years that Ultimate, Mystic considering the times, was a permanent upgrade and pretty much just Gohan's new default base form.

I mean, that is pretty obviously what the deal is in the original manga version of things before any middling midquels ...

Brown and orange are pretty distinct colors that haven't already been used yet (for Gokuu, Gohan, Vegeeta, etc).

I didn't just say Saiyan forms. Orange has now been used for "Cheeto Dust" Piccolo, and technically brown was already used ages ago for good ol' Great Ape.

I think the real reason is pretty obviously that all these various "new" forms in the modern era have very little if any actual creative thought behind them, are largely just barely-tweaked color-swaps of previously existing forms... and by this point they've pretty much run out of distinct primary ...

As far as I'm concerned, the "True Legendary Super Saiyan" is the real Broli as he was in Z Movie 8. Unlike his later brain-damaged M11 self or the ripoff DBS version, he wasn't just an out-of-control berserker who didn't know what he was doing. They already did Daima DLC, so why wouldn't they want to do "Daima but better" DLC with GT too?

Technically not true. Cabba is proving to be an excellent punching bag for when I'm playing as actually-good characters.

I suspect/hope that any any future Moro or Granolah DLC would come in the form of smaller isolated packs that are easy to exclude, like with the Fake Broli and Super Hero and Daima stuff.

The solution is to simply not try so hard to equate Dabra to any one specific level of power that Cell showed. Goku's comparison was very vague and not even based on actually sensing Dabra's ki.

He's just a broadly "Cell tier" opponent, and then you work out a more specific estimate than that ...

Don't forget that the Battle of Gods movie was originally written and even animated with Super Saiyan Gohan, not Ultimate Gohan, and they just recolored his hair and aura for his short "fight" with Beerus in the 11th hour. The movie also didn't let Gotenks use Super Saiyan 3, either.
