That's a small article about a new magazine from Shueisha featuring various spin offs from series like One Piece, Naruto, Reborn, etc. No Dragon Ball spin off is listed, but it seems like some people think there's going to be one. Namely, the guys at mangastream.

Nor sure if that counts as illegal activities or whatever, but as you can see there's a Dragon Ball spin off listed. "Dragon Ball SD" sounds fairly dodgy as a title though, and it's not mentioned anywhere else that I can find.

EDIT: Of course, the above is pessimistic conjecture. If "SD" stands for something else, cool, but I did see that Jump scan promoting Super Strong, and the One Piece and Naruto spin-offs didn't exactly look promising.

I think it's a rumor. There was no DB title listed in the official announcement. I'd love some more comedic DB stuff (especially if it involves Goku and Vegeta) but I think this is just wishful thinking on Mangastream's part.

Of course, if it is true, I'll definitely give it a read. :3

Well then, I hope it focuses on Goku and Vegeta (I can never get enough of these two) but as Chuquita said it might be about young Goku and Krillin. Perhaps a "The lost adventures of..." kind of story?

Remember that webcomic where Goku and Kuririn went to school together? I wouldn't mind one bit if that went professional and the artist is making new strips now. However....that prediction seems rather unlikely. Can't get too excited at this point but I'll be sure to check in for updates.

It's listed at the bottom in a separate section than the One Piece and Naruto one-shots and whatnot, in the section labeled "more and more startling contents", right with the One Piece 3D chess and cards and other special things that presumably are exclusive to the first issue.

Was that the Peanuts version of DB? Because I remember a DB webcomic that was like Peanuts, but with DB characters.
