New Dragon Ball series.

I think a 4th Dragon Ball series is like a Star Wars Episode 7, it will likely never happen. Dragon Ball has been finish for a decade and half, I would only like to see a 4th series is somewhat of a reboot where they fixed all of the errors in GT.

Kai is the fourth series.

But Kai's not a continuation of the third series, which I think is what he was getting at.

Bingo. Kai is just a remake of DBZ and is not a sequel in any form. While it's the 4th Dragon Ball anime, it's not really a sequel. Like how you wouldn't call X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), "X-Men 4". Or call Rob Zombie's Halloween (2007), "Halloween 9".

There are five Gegege no Kitarô series', none of which are a sequel to the other. Simply because they don't share a continuity it doesn't mean there are not five of them. Dragon Ball Kai was the fourth weekly television anime produced by Toei Animation based on Dragon Ball. It stands as an entity separate from Dragon Ball Z or the other two weekly series'.

I... have to post this summary of "Ultimate Z", this is hilarious.

I have learned a great deal about the Z Ultimate series, for the moment.

I have a powerscale for the saiyans comparing them to marvel/d.c characters.

Supersaiyan 5 is Solar busting FTL speed

Supersaiyan 6 is Galaxy busting way faster than light

Supersaiyan 7 is Multi-Galaxy busting Light is not even a proper conversion of speed anymore at this point

Supersaiyan 8 is Universe Buster and Reality warper (Goku ssj8 Absorbs a cosmic dragon "Eksearu" which is Porunga, Red Ultimate Shenlong, and Shenlong fused into one dragon as they were at the beginning of time. Goku ssj8 can grant his own wishes as he pleases and warp reality and create universes. This level is considered cosmic.

Supersaiyan 9- Final level. Multiverse buster in vegeta ssj9's case, but Goku ssj9 is a True Omnipotent. Goku ssj9 is god basically, omnipresent, omnicient, and omnipotent, omniverse buster, nothing is impossible. Vegeta ssj9 is Ni- omnipotent, he can make his own universes and multiverses, but they aren't very stable and collapse after a fair amount of time. The main variation between goku 9 and vegeta 9 is that whatever goku 9 does in one universe affects all universes, whatever vegeta 9 does in one universe only affects that universe alone.

Here are the sagas as follows:

Roki Saga- An evil sorcerress sealed by previous kami's long ago who sealed her powers in shenlongs dragonballs. Her henchmen "The Denga Brother's" came to earth to destroy the Dragonballs to restore her power so that she could escape improsonment. Goku comes back as an adult, and a supersaiyan 5. Piccolo also comes back in this saga as well. The denga brothers gave everyone trouble on earth, tien, yamchua, chaotzu, uubu, gohan 4, vegeta 4, and goku came in later with the dragonballs still inside him. The Denga Brothers did a technique which ripped the dragonballs out of him and they destroyed the dragonballs as planned, but goku went ssj5 shortly after and defeated them easily. Roki is back, and pretty much dominates everyone (gohan ssj4 got the worst beating of his life) even goku ssj5 struggled to fight her. Piccolo made new earth dragonballs there were more powerful and he sealed her power back away and the z senshi defeated Roki, but she later is a love interest of goten.

Gungir Saga- Ancient saiyan who lived in the creation period when all saiyans were supersaiyan 6 which is a saiyan's original form. This means each saiyan back then had Galaxy busting power (now imagine if frieza tried to invade their planet back then LMAO). There was an Emporer back then and they were more savage than we have ever seen the saiyans throughout the Z series. and we learn there is another Oozaru form called "White Main Oozaru" or "Origin Oozaru". SSJ 6 is called "Origin Saiya-jin" because it's their original state. Its the biggest form, but the saiyans were wiped out by an extreme plague, the survivors were severely weakened, and you see reduced forms like ssj4, ssj3 and below. soon after, there was only a supersaiyan once every thousand years, and that's where the legend comes from. Gungir wants to kill everyone who is not an Original saiyan and thinks that goku and vegita and the gang are a waste of saiyan blood, even brolli (who we find out is not a full saiyan!!!!) my personal favorite saga. (At this stage, they fight in space only, no more planetary fights.)

Evil Super cell Specials- Cell grows angry watching from the pits of hell as goku and the saiyans are becoming more powerful as he, the most perfect being comprised of all the greatest warriors in the universe is still inferior. He kills king cold, and goes on a killing rampage, and absorbs lots of villians and transforms 3 times. his first transformation was as powerful as a high powered ssj4, his second form was as powerful as a mid tier ssj5 and he fought brolli, brolli had the upperhand as cell prolonged the fight, but cell absorbed brolli and cell transformed again into "super cell", and then escaped from hell into our universe to face goku 6 and vegita 6 in space. Goku and vegeta gain the upperhand until cell absorbed vegita ssj6, and transformed into super evil cell. Goku gets pounded all over the universe going through galaxies at speeds that rip planets and stars, and black holes, star systems, but Shenlong helps goku and he reaches supersaiyan 7, and does this new kamehameha that wipes you out of existence.

Evil Juu Bei Saga- Gaurdian of the universe, becomes corrupt while residing in a dimension known as "Oblivion" which is the link to all the universes and oversees our universe and the afterlife universes. All the negative energy from the universe goes to oblivion which makes Juu Bei transform into evil Juu bei.

Eksearu Corrupt Saga- Eksearu or Xcior is all 3 dragons merged together (Porunga, Red Ultimate Shenlong and Shenlong), a cosmic entity beyond all conception. He can warp reality at his pleasure, and is near Omnipotent in his second form. His body is said to be endless like the universe itself, and his head is bigger than the size of earth, after defeating Super Evil Juu, Goku ssj8 sits on a throne on top of Eksearu's head, and Travels through multiple black holes as travel to anywhere instantly, even though at this point Goku 8 by himself can fly anywhere in seconds w/o teleportation.


Movies:

Terror of Takuri: This movie introduces Gogeta supersaiyan 6 which is the final fusion in the show. when they merged together, it eroded the galaxy they were in and started to affect nearby galaxies.

Gosan our last hero: pan's son gosan has to fight a new enemy a little after the evil juu bei saga, i forgot his name but i will go back and fix this.

The Return of Tapion: Hoi comes back with a new monster Saidagaurn, and goku 6, vegita 6, and gohan 5 and the gang have to fight him.

There was a special that introduced goku's mother,and explains where he gets his caring nature and kindness, and his strength, embarassing for bardock as she saved him in a mission for frieza, that's how they met, but she dies soon after goku is born which leads into the bardock special.

Gosan's journey: Gosan wants to become stronger, so he seeks out goku who takes him to roshi's place, that wasn't enough for gosan so goku takes him to the otherworld, he does good until he faces the likes of pikuhan and stronger foes, so goku takes him to hell, and he fights his way through the ginyu force and frieza and such, and he even comes across raditz, who is now a supersaiyan 1 (note everyone by now is at least supersaiyan 4 or above, later in the series gosan reaches 5, but he is 2 right now). Raditz turns ssj1 and gives an epic speech on how he achieved the legendary ssj form training day and night, and gosan just turns ssj2 and kills him instantly. Last but not least, he faces Bardock!!!!!, bardock has achieved ssj2, and gosan struggles to fight him, and out of desparation gosan is pushed to a ssj3. trunks and gohan cut the fight short and gosan hears his name. Bardock saw gohan and was startled, he asked gohan his name, and then thought it was just a mistake. then he asks if his father is known by any other name. Gohan says "uncle vegita calls him kakorotto", and bardock solved the puzzle that gohan is his grandson. baba lets bardock come to earth for a day to see the family where he meets everyone, and gets to spar with goku who is a ssj6 now, but it closes with them fighting on baseform.

Dragon Ball "Hoshi"? Of course! Since one of Lucky Star's endings was a "Cha-la" cover, Dragon Ball Hoshi is clearly a crossover with Lucky Star! And they seem to already have an ova in the works as well!!.....that, or the whole thing's complete utter bullshit

They're just not bothering to different between regular and elongated 'o' sounds, same as when people write "Kaio" instead of "Kaiou". Houshin-Engi is made up of hou, meaning "seal", shin, meaning "god" (same as in "Kaioshin"), and engi, which basically means an ancient Chinese novel. So it's a novel about sealing the gods. I guess we don't really know what the dingbat who made up this "DragonBall Hoshi" stuff actually had in mind with that name, but if it is supposed to be hoshi as in "star" then it doesn't have an elongated 'o' sound and would be written with just one kanji rather than two.

A spinoff manga titled Dragon Ball SD, written by Ooishi Naho, has been published in Shueisha's Super Strong Jump magazine beginning in December 2010. A television series will be launched on cable in late 2011 - early 2012. A second issue was released in April 2011. The sad part is... there will be some fans (probably less experienced with the whole AF business or new to the series) that will take this seriously and start looking forward to this.

This is actually my biggest problem with stuff like this, getting someones hopes up and then dissapointing them. I was a victime of something like this once ....
