Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Finally a reason for Gohan, Goten and Trunks to start training again! Hopefully everyone gets a huge power boost similar to the cell arc when they trained in the hyperbolic time chamber ( we need Piccolo to be relevant again! )
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
This new's is so Hype
SSB sound's 10x better!
Does anyone think the Manga will become Weekly or Bi-Monthly since it's no longer confound by the Anime?
or at least have more than 18 or so pages like Attack on Titan.

Not unless it's serialized outside of V-Jump, which has been a monthly publication for eons.Xeztin wrote:Does anyone think the Manga will become Weekly or Bi-Monthly since it's no longer confound by the Anime?

I hope they add more than 18 pages, or put it in Weekly JumpVegettoEX wrote:Not unless it's serialized outside of V-Jump, which has been a monthly publication for eons.Xeztin wrote:Does anyone think the Manga will become Weekly or Bi-Monthly since it's no longer confound by the Anime?
Edit- Really enjoyed the last Podcast episode by the way! The main discussion being on the manga and Toyotaro was great

Not really, I mean he was brought back to life with a new form that had reached 80% Full Power Beerus battle power, he could escape (maybe to another universe) and improve his Golden Form and have a rematch against the God Saiyans in the future...SSJ God Gogeta wrote:No, Freeza needs to stay dead. I doubt Toyo-tarou could handle that many pages per week. Weekly JUMP is also usually home to original comics, not spin-offs, too. The best we can hope for is probably a few more pages per month, but even then that might be too much.

I guess there is a sliiiight possibility it could run in multiple magazines (similar to Pokemon Special/Adventures). The only other real option I could see them going with is Saikyo Jump though, but that's bi-monthly in the other sense (releases every other month). I think that would be a terrible idea for a cohesive story though. They are better off just sticking to V-Jump.

Vegeta defeat Golden Freeza or Vegeta and Goku defeat Golden Freeza in DBS manga?

Yea I agree with you and JulieYBM, I really hope the Page count get's bumped up to 40 or so at the very least, It seemed like the end of Chapter 4 with what Beerus said to Goku was kind of rushed and thrown in there, but other than that I've enjoyed the pace of the Super Manga.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:I guess there is a sliiiight possibility it could run in multiple magazines (similar to Pokemon Special/Adventures). Toyotaro is doing a fine job, he might not ever be Toriyama's successor, but if he ever creates a manga of his own using what he learned from Toriyama, I'm sure it'd be pretty darn good, Art wise at the very least.

So pretty much just RF again.... Freeza leaves, comes back even stronger and somehow the Saiyans beat him again. It's time to let Freeza go.Noah wrote:Not really, I mean he was brought back to life with a new form that had reached 80% Full Power Beerus battle power, he could escape (maybe to another universe) and improve his Golden Form and have a rematch against the God Saiyans in the future...SSJ God Gogeta wrote:No, Freeza needs to stay dead. Exactly. I think they'll lose and have to find dragonballs to fix the mess.irreality wrote:I don't mind Goku and gang losing, but can we not do the tournament interruption again? It is so unsatisfying.
Any post before 8/7/2016 isn't mine. This account was a gift from someone who thought the account was already banned. Saved me the trouble of making a new one haha XD

Well, why can they not let him kill the Saiyans? It would be a interesting twistSSJ God Gogeta wrote:So pretty much just RF again.... Freeza leaves, comes back even stronger and somehow the Saiyans beat him again. It's time to let Freeza go.

Saiyans die and yet Freeza is somehow still defeated.... Whis then does some stuff and Goku & Vegeta come back to life.Noah wrote:Well, why can they not let him kill the Saiyans? So do you think ROF is gonna change the main fight and have Goku and Vegeta team up?Noah wrote:The narrator says that both defeated himBonus Stage wrote:Vegeta defeat Golden Freeza or Vegeta and Goku defeat Golden Freeza in DBS manga?

A twin ... universe?
This would be the perfect opportunity to bring in GT if it should really not be a part of Universe 7. Other than that it sounds incredibly boring in my opinion.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Probably just the figurative meaning, Goku weakens Freeza in their one-on-one fight and then Vegeta step foward and gives the final blow, similar to the movieLord Beerus wrote:So do you think ROF is gonna change the main fight and have Goku and Vegeta team up?

Impossible for GT to fit here. The Earth in U6 is said to be in ruins, which isn't the case in the GT continuity.Cetra wrote:This would be the perfect opportunity to bring in GT if it should really not be a part of Universe 7. Other than that it sounds incredibly boring in my opinion.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Nuclear war, nothing like a baby Saiyan that was sent with the purpose of destroying the planet, has did it lolDragonHermit wrote:Would really like to know what happened to Universe 6's earth.
