Piccolo has always been relevant though. Sure he took a step back in BoG but so did everyone else but he took a few steps forward again in Resurrection "F" and was at the forefront for most of the movie.

The news story that broke a few weeks ago said that the Manga will be jumping ahead of the anime so we could get a sneek peak of what's coming up. The Manga will probably handle somethings differently like the BoG arc. But the basis will probably be the same.
Yeah, some people still didn't grasp the manga is just an advertisement for the anime, a "see what's coming up next", even after it was announced as a preview for the animation. The manga's narrative barely makes sense by itself. what was different in BoG was just thanks to how rushed it was, and the fact Toyotaro probably receives only scripts, not storyboards or anything like that.

Whis said Goku&Vegeta defeated Freeza so does that mean he wasn't killed ? It would be interesting to see him team up with whoever will be representing u7 at the tournament.

July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Nothing much happened in this chapter either it was just a huge exposition dump.It will be interesting to see what the future chapters of this Champa arc will be like though.

Defeated can mean killed you know. You need to really stop reading into every single line. They probably are in the midst of scripting the Freeza arc as we speak or it has just been scripted, there is no way Toyotaro could know, especially given what his BoG chapters were like.

That would be a good change. If you gonna revive a old villain, at least do something interesting with him.
Instead of revive him, just to kill him again.

In the movie Goku kills him so why would he mention Vegeta if the story is the same as the movie's ?

Because Vegeta did beat down Freeza, about to apply the finishing move, then Goku interrupted and killed Freeza instead, so yes technically they did both defeat Freeza.

I want to see him relevant in the sense that he can keep up with Goku and Vegeta, and play a pivotal role in defeating a major villain. The Namekians seem to hold a lot of secrets, hopefully Super will delve into that and it will somehow return Piccolo to the status he once had as Goku's rival.

I like a lot of this new information, but I was still hoping that Super RoF would end with Freeza destroying Earth. I also feel like GafferTape (MistareFusion) perfectly summed up why tournaments just don't work anymore, these guys have gone to strength levels where it makes no sense to restrict them to such an environment when its far more interesting to see them cut completely loose.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I agree that's a fair point to make when it's someplace restraining them, like the Tenka'ichi Budokai, but we don't know anything about this Hakaishin Invitational. No idea where it will be held, who will be allowed to attend, etc. For all we know, they could have a whole super durable locale to just cut loose on with no spectators other than the two pairs of Hakaishin and their attendants.

I hope they have an entire planet as their battleground. Hopefully with some interesting and dangerous locations, too.

^ Lets hope so.
Since Beerus home is so beautiful and my favourite location, I will be waiting for more cool looking places.

I think I created a thread about "Super Human God" once and went into great detail, but If i recall right it wasn't well received.
I Believe one of my suggestion's was that all races might have a "God form", and that Uub could be the one to reach the Humans.
Glad someone else think's it's a small possibility though
That would be a great way to make EoZ follow DBS timeline
That would be interesting but kinda "forced" to fit in EoZ, IMO

That's what i was thinking, too. It's not a Budokai, so there's nothing to say this will be limited to a small arena or something (in fact, i doubt that).

I made a joke on Saiyan Island MONTHS ago when SSGSS was first shown. I said and quote: "Wow a Super Saiyan Blue". And I bet I wasn't the only one who thought the name Super Saiyan Blue either.

Would be nice to gave locations where powers just switch around due to some magic. Like an area where your punches are three times stronger but if you try to use a Ki blast, you'll get blown up. I doubt we'll get anything more than Budokai Tenkaichi the big ass planet edition but a guy can hope.
