I wouldn't get too hopeful, it's promotional material for the F arc. When the five are revealed, it's possible it will be much different. There's 6 people there too, so it doesn't necessarily mean Piccolo will fight, he can just coach and the fighters be Goku/Vegeta/Gohan/Goten/Trunks.

In one month, hopefully we should know who will fight.

Goku/Vegeta SSG was revealed by two toys and came from nowhere. Take this with a grain of salt.
This is just merchadising and Its not 100% confirmed.

Only reason I think otherwise is why are Goten/Trunks there if it's for the Ressurrection F Saga? Unless Toei realized there was a huge missed opportunity of not having Goten/Trunks meet Freeza in the movie and decided to change it, why wouldn't Krillin Tien and Roshi be there?

EDIT: for the people wanting Freeza, I think it'd be pointless to have Freeza come back, die, and come back again for the tournament.

Wasn't it already pointless to bring him back for RoF anyway? Its not like Blooper couldn't be introduced for this tournament arc and he still doesn't destroy the Earth in the Super version.

I would love to see Piccolo with a new outfit, not just a Whis logo slapped on the shirt. Probably won't happen though, I mean he's worn the same damn thing since the 23rd Tenkaichi Budokai.

Vegeta definitely looks better with that black suit rather than the blue one. I'd hope it would stay like that from now on.

First of all, Piccolo may just be there to fap off in the background over everyone's powers and "coach them." Secondly, I doubt anyone's receiving any power ups. The opposing teams will likely be distributed to correspond to the PLs of their opponents, so there will be a guy as strong as Gohan, another as strong as Goten and Trunks (probably midgets who can also fuse or something), and the super mighty stoic warriors for Goku and Vegeta.

Krillin, Tien, and Roshi aren't there because they're humans. Toei hates promoting anything that doesn't turn Super Saiyan or isn't Piccolo.

Also, Goten, Trunks, and Buu may indeed be in this arc. But it's probably not because, "Toei realized they missed out." They probably /were/ intended to be in the movie during the early, early, /early/ drafts. But later I'm sure they realized that they would take up too much screentime and kept them out.

If they're selected for Beerus' team, i'm sure there will be a training period for everyone to get ready.

You should stop jumping to absurd conclusions. You're sounding desperate because you claimed so much the next arc would be all about Goku and Vegeta, and it's not turning out to be that way. You've been warned.

The tournament will probably be like the one in the Uranai Baba arc. 5 people on each team, when one loses on each team, another one will fight against the winner until it's strongest vs strongest.
