MK: Kreate a Fighter

Post by QuantumDestiny » Fri Jan 05, 2007 2:58 pm

Not sure if this belongs here, but I was playing around with the new Mortal Kombat: Armageddon game and there's a feature that allows you to 'kreate a fighter'.......

8) Guess who you can create...

Hahaha it pleased me to see characters resembling DragonBall Z being able to be made in totally seperate video games.

Ha, this reminds me about a recent wrestling game (I think it was SmackDown! vs. RAW) and in the create a character mode, there was an optional scouter. Seriously. :)

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.

Almost as bad as the Vegeta hair in Smackdown Feel the pain.

I do remember a blue Super saiyan style hair cut in another game too and I'm struggling to remember it.

Was it a customizable option for Jin Kazama in Tekken: Dark Resurrection, perhaps? :)

Poor Nail :(

I never tried to make DB characters in Armageddon; just stuck with my own originals, and Khameleon. Those are nice, though. What moves did you give them?

Cool, are those the only you can create? What are their moves? They look so awesome!

Sweet; I had already made Goku on my own, but I had never suceeded in making Piccolo, and never tried Chi-Chi. Other than Kuririn I wonder what other DBZ characters you could make.

As for "fighting" games... MK Arageddon is the only one. But as for "games" in general, I seriously say check out the WWE/WWF Smackdown Games, and the WWE/WWF games on Gamecube.

Smackdown Just Bring It, SD Shut Your Mouth, and SD Here Comes the Pain ALL had Super Saiyan hair options, and the recent Smackdown VS Raw games have had a pointy hair thing, that works very well for Vegetto. And also SD VS Raw 2006 have the head accesory option for Scouters.

On Gamecube, Wrestlemania 19, and Day of Reckoning (both WWE/WWF) have Super Saiyan hair, and even Vegeta and Trunks Armour from the Cell Games. (theres two other games on Gamecube, but I just dont have them).

And if you buy any chance find these games for cheap somewhere, the Create-A-Wrestler feature on them is almost awesome enough to actually figure out how to play the game. I highly recommend SD VS Raw 2006.

And the great thing, is that people actually go and make guides for these games on how to make any kind of character, from wrestlers not on the in-game roster, to Bruce Lee, to Piccolo and Goku.

Er none yet, I just got the game a week ago so I haven't gotten around to doing that! Although I gave Piccolo a katana for his weapon option ala the One Piece/DBZ x-over :D

Yeah Goku was pretty easy to make, Piccolo cost me over 6000 koins. The girl choices seemed kind of limited for matching Dragonball females, but I might try some more XD. In the process of making a DBAF-esque SSJ4 ChiChi. Those revealing shirt options make it possible LOL.

Yeah I love the character creator in MKA. I made Yamcha with it immediately (and Yunomi from my manga but that's another story). Even posted a video on YouTube. Unfortunately it's not the best and I didn't get to show all his moves.

Update: Issue 10 is up! Volume 1 is complete!

It does indeed.

And my problem with the wrestling games, other than playing like crap, are that anime character look just wrong in their create-a-characters.
