So, I just read Chapter 5, and this is what I wanted Super to be. All new content with Universe 6 and all these cool Champa and Vadous interacting with Beerus and Whis. I can't wait to see what this tournament has to offer.

I could simply sense the ki of Blah blah Di's henchmen, but I'm to stupid to think of that. Please stop everything you're doing to help stop the birth of some bad guy. Well, there go all the theories of GT being in Universe 6!

I love how the manga is much less focused on the movie events and shows what else is going on. Though the defusing of Kibito Kai still creates a big plothole if you count GT.

What are the possibilities of us seeing a evil goku of universe 6 vs our goku that be epic who knows there so many possibilities something like this might happen maybe the universe 6 goku never sent to earth, maybe planet vegeta wasn't destroyed by Frieza and was still ruling over planet vegeta until an army of saiyan soldiers became immensely strong and over thrown frieza and ruled the universe 6 with help of an evil god of destruction from a different universe maybe universe 5......

Read the chapter it was really good. A lot seemed to happen in a space of 20 page chapter. It was very interesting.

I'm hella hyped for the Tournament, I wonder if Toriyama will go for a boring "5 Saiyans focus", or if he's going to let Piccolo or even Buu shine again.

Yeah, one of the guides at the time referred to it as "Super Saiyan Grade 5", I believe.

Yup, it and Full Power Super Saiyan were originally classified just like the buff forms.

Since they skip the revival of f, I wonder if that hampers a tankobon release since uts missing a whole story arch thats just breifly mentioned. Now I wondrr if u5 was skipped ti get to the goods stuff or if it ws litteraly partially done ti promote the movie

Shueisha could probably wait for Toyble to be able to fill in the gap in story content for his telling of the Golden Freeza arc and then release an extended edition in the collected volume, assuming they were willing to wait a few months.

If they were smart, they would just use the Resurrection "F" manga he already did to fill in the bulk of the gap. It ended right before Freeza went gold, so you really only need one more ~35 page or less chapter to use for the final fight. From what I remember, some of his Victory Mission chapters were longer than the Super ones we're getting now (and he was doing those while still producing the extra special chapters for Jump Festa or Saikyo Jump anyway). Plus, the full movie is out as an easy reference now and he could still condense the battles like his version of the base Goku vs. Freeza fight. I wouldn't think whipping that up would be too hard for him in between Super chapters at this point.

On the bright side, if they go with the 5 Saiyajin, then that means Goten and Trunks will be developed
