Why is Budokai Tenkaichi 3 expensive?
I grew up with the original Budokai all the way to Budokai Tenkaichi 3, for some odd reason I stopped purchasing the newer sequels after the first Budokai Tenkaichi, and year's later after I was dragged back into the Dragon Ball World with it's mighty awesomeness yet again, I decided to purchase BT 2, and 3. I purchased 2 for around 20 dollars (used) Case, art, book, and all. THEN I wanted to complete the trilogy by going onto purchase BT3, and I was utterly shocked. The game was selling for around 60 dollars disk only, which I thought was insane for a PS2 game, since I've never encountered a PS2 game going up this high. I mean I was always under the impression that Video games and their respected consoles loose value over time, (Except for Retro's and Arcade machines, they are getting a lot of attention lately.) I lucked out and got the entire case, booklet, art, and disk for 43 bucks I think. I know that is a lot to pay for a PS2 era game, but I had to have it. They both actually looked like you just took the plastic off it to say the least. Anyone know why BT 3 is up so high? It doesn't look to be exactly extremely rare. https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing ... enkaichi+3

The game went out of print ages ago and it's also a popular title. Out stock + Popular demand = High After Market Prices. Atari lost the rights to the series after 2008 and can no longer print more DBZ games in the US.
