Well, supposing we get that update (which I'm really hoping we do - I need my Policeman Kuririn assist!), we'll also have Goku with his tractor, bingo Vegeta, and Towa and Mira, presumably.

I don't think those require codes, though. Do they? Hopefully, if we ever do get that patch, it'll work like the Japanese version and we'll have those characters right out of the gate! But you've got a good point. They could make them code-unlockable for international releases. They've changed other characters, after all.

My copy finally arrived, so I'm excited to finally jump into this!

Looks like even brand-new games still know what the dealio is with the whole "debate" about the No.1 Earthling.

Anyway, I'm making progress, currently going through Adventure Mode (obviously), and sucking a little less each time I play.

Do we have any definitive list of confirmed character unlock codes for the NA version of the game? Half the ones I find and try don't seem to work.

This list is as close to complete as we're going to get until Jaco is revealed.

Jaco's already been revealed.

US: R, Right, Y, B, A, A, B, X, Left, L, Right, Left, R, Right ,Y, B, A

EU: R, Left, Y, B, A, A, B, X, Right, L

Also, here's a list of other EU/AUS codes, mostly taken from GameFAQS with some of my own contributions.
Edit: Added more codes, while changing the Gogeta codes to the official ones without the frivolous inputs.

Has anyone here been able to unlock Super Android 13? I have no clue how to beat Ginyu with a time up and still have a good score. Any tips?

Buy the Energy Sponge (recovers HP when inflicting damage on opponents) and Regeneration (recovers HP over time) from the item shop and equip them. Also buy and equip an Hourglass for the time bonus.

Go into the fight with a set up consisting of Korin, Kibito, Dende, and a useful wall like Meta Cooler. Spend most of the match guarding WHILE crouching and heal with one of the assists when you feel like it's necessary. During the last few seconds, have your wall Assist prevent Ginyu from attacking and quickly charge up your energy while he's being knocked back. Then, unleash an ultimate combo and try to make sure he doesn't attack you during the last second or two after it has ended.

You should get an S thanks to the Perfect, Ultimate, Time, and Rush(from the ultimate attack) bonuses you have.

Much obliged for the Jaco code, Captain Sora - that should be all of the code ones that I needed to unlock now, woot!

I still haven't beaten Extreme Tournament yet though (haven't played in a few days), so I still need to do that to unlock Beerus, and then all that's left to do is S Rank missions and finish unlocking other assists. Other than Beerus, what do you get for beating the Tournament anyway? Is it a good way to get a bunch of cash to buy items?

Thanks for the tips, capt. Sora! I'll try to do it when I get home.
Gyt Kaliba, as far as I can tell you just get beerus. Anything after that is a sense of accomplishment for winning with whoever you chose because that tournament is tough! (for me on hard mode anyway) Though I never bother to check my adventure cash right after beating the tournament, so I guess its worth a look to see.

Actually, unless you got lucky on the first go, you may need to redo the Extreme Tournament a few more times if you want to get the last few titles. Just like certain interruptions that can occur during the tournament, there's a chance that one more fight against Beerus, Goku, and Vegeta will pop up after winning the final match against SSJG Goku. Beat that and you'll get "True" and "Conqueror."

So, you know the mission where you fight Broly and Bardock and they have Shen Long as their assist? Yeah, I hate that mission. You have to get the like, 3? or 4 Ultimate combos. but for some reason Broly has like priority over fucking everything in the game. What's a good strategy for that mission?

I ended up beating it with the Energy Sponge and Regeneration equipped. Though I didn't use it at the time, I recommend using the rice cooker as well because you need to land the ultimate combos without the opponent countering. (If the rice cooker doesn't work that way and they still counter, I'm sorry). Anyways, go in the battle with your best, strong character and best assists that you can put up a good fight with. Also if you can, Meta Cooler or Majuub or Dabura, etc always helps for ki charging. Just rush in there, get your 3 ultimate combos in asap. The health power ups are really helpful, especially if you finish with your ultimate combo because you'll get the 100 for health, another 100 for perfect, and another 100 for all the ultimates you performed. Other than that, battle good and use a couple super moves, I guess. I can't remember off the top of my head exactly the setup I used to beat them, but I definitely did. For sure though, the energy sponge combined with regeneration and(obviously) mission completion are super helpful for getting S-Ranks. Maybe today or tomorrow I'll go attempt to re-S-rank them and then tell you what I did, if you haven't beaten it yet. Happy Butodening! :D

So, uhm, apparantly, Amazon.uk is having trouble with Extreme Butoden, I just got this email:
"Hello,

We're still trying to obtain the following item you ordered on July 08 2015.

"Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden"

We're awaiting a revised estimate from our supplier, and will email you as soon as we receive this information."

Anyone else got this?

Well. Beat all the modes. Got all the combatants. Now I have to go back and get S Rank on those missions to unlock those support characters who I can't find codes for. :problem:

Anyone else bored of this game already? There's nice sprites, okay gameplay and a little fanservice. But other than that I'm a little upset I bought it.

I've gotten S-ranks on everything and have unlocked everything and I'd have to disagree. I was pretty into the gameplay so the only thing that keeps me bored is that there's no really good dedicated mode to just do a series of fights like a dedicated Arcade mode or an Online. The latter will hopefully be alleviated with the update.

I realize that this will seem like an unfinished game for people, but I feel like I made a sound investment and got a good amount of enjoyment from it and will hopefully encourage Bamco to produce a sequel. I'm still enjoying figuring out the characters and looking at all the support animations so I'm still enjoying it so far.
If you're not here soon... GET ON!

Wasn't really an agree or disagree question lol. But yeah I feel like an arcade mode, or a survival mode should be in there so I can continuously test my metal without it feeling tedious. I do enjoy playing with certain characters, my favs so far: Raditz, SSJ Vegeta, U. Gohan, Broly, and SSG Goku.

And now, I finally did it! I unlocked Super Android 13 finally and barely (score was like 409). I used God Goku, with both life items and hourglass items equipped. My assists were Kibito, Dende, Meta Cooler, and Majuub. Basically I did what you said with crouch-guarding and used Cooler and Majuub to have breathing room every several seconds. Then I did an ultimate and waited a few more seconds and it worked
