Anyway, folks, it's time to kick things off again. I'm getting Rick, Kino, Jack and I together to decide on the voice casting, and after that, we'll get to work on rehearsing and recording, while starting on the video editing and other such stuff.

First, a few things that still need resolving. Let's take them one at a time.

Movie Title - We still haven't resolved this. It looks like it's going to either be "Tree of Might," or some alternate version of the original Japanese title.

...or "Let That Planet Alone."

Input, anyone?

"Let That Planet Alone" is actually pretty good in that respect, when you think about it.

THE STORY THUS FAR...

It's a little project I suggested (and ended up heading) to do a fandub of one of the movies. It took off, and movie 3 got picked. A bunch of people with a lot of collective resources have signed on and are helping with it. We've got some semi-professional voice actors, some good video and audio editors, and even DragonBox footage!

Auditions took place shortly before Christmas (I don't believe you had joined yet), and are long over, unfortunately. The project took a break over the holidays, but I'm working to get it back on track now. Mr.Piccolo, Kinofourpaws, Mystic Jack and I are in the process of going through all the auditions and will be picking out roles from those who auditioned soon, and I'm getting the other lovely volunteers back to work on their stuff, too.

Actually, Nathan, I was IMing with Rick earlier, and you came up. Your DVD cover thing you made for "Eliminate" was awesome, and we were wondering if you'd like to help out with this, either with another DVD cover or helping out with the poster Mr. Announcer and I are probably gonna do.

I wouldn't mind making a lil' somethin' for ya. But ofcourse, I'd need details, but I guess that comes later, like when the movie is at least half done

This sounds like a cool project, but I wonder why you picked the movie that has like 15 english versions already

And can you post some of those auditions? I wouldn't mind hearing some, but if you don't want to that's cool.

As for my input on the title, go with "Let That Planet Alone" hehe

There actually was a thread for voting on the movie. 3 was overwhelmingly popular, apparently because of the wide cast.

And can you post some of those auditions? I wouldn't mind hearing some, but if you don't want to that's cool.

The auditions had their own thread, too. It's here in the General Discussion board, but it's drifted to the top of the second page by now. Just remember, necroposting is bad. The auditions are long done and over with, anyway.

Hmmm. On the right track, but it might still be a little too long. More something like Battle for Earth if we take that route.

And for refference.. or something... the Japanese title according to wikipedia is "Super Deciding Battle for the Entire Planet Earth" which imo, if your going to call it something like that, you might as well just say it in Japanese
