Freeza's regeneration question

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Freeza's regeneration question

Post by soduh2 » Wed Nov 04, 2015 7:29 am

In Resurrection of "F" parts of Freeza's body was collectively placed into a rejuvenation chamber. The while in the chamber the parts knitted themselves together and Freeza regrew some of his limbs (and armor).

If they "preserved" the revived Freeza chunks, could they make multiple Freezas?

Or

Was all the pieces necessary for his resurrection?

Personally, I don't believe that the latter is true because technically he was already a cyborg, but what do you all think?

i think they needed all the pieces to be completely sure Frieza came back full power. But it was not required.

Clone Frieza? Like Cell? Possibility. He could be dubbed kuriza! :D

Freeza is obviously able to control multiple parts of his body with his one and only consciousness, just as Cell and Boo can do (and how Cooler controlled the Metal Cooler bodies). So even if they could use the dismembering to clone him, it would be no clone per sé but original Freeza, only one and the same, controlling many cloned bodies (which would even be greater as one person using multiple avatars is one of the greatest fantasy powers ever and shows how powerful the consciousness/soul/self of that person is - really: who would not prefer multiple bodies for one instead of guys who just are like you).

Multiple Freezer are out of the question, as there is only one soul of him.

Even though all of those chunks were alive, not all of them held their own consciousness. Whatever part of Freeza's body held his consciousness (I presume it to be some section of his head that held an important section of his brain if Freeza's anatomy is similar to humans and Saiyans) was able to regrow body parts and connect to its other preserved parts, but a non-sentient chunk like Freeza's left foot can not grow a consciousness or soul.
