Naw, Imamura isn't a good director (and has apparently gotten worse over the years), Shida rarely puts himself into his storyboards and Yashima Yoshitaka tends to only do solo episodes. Unless one of these episodes has a guest appearance by a good animator I would say there isn't much of anything to look forward to.

20 古田丈司 広嶋秀樹 島貫正弘 (ED: Hiroshima Hideki; SB: Furuta Takeshi; AS: Shimanuki Masahiro)

Episode #22 Episode Director Imamura Takahiro did a ton of directing for Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT.

Does it say who wrote 20 and 22?

Regarding the animation supervisors: the magazines usually list only one, but that's not always the case.

Episode 13 was announced as a Yukihiro Kitano episode, but it ended up being Kitano/Yamamuro Tadayoshi. Wouldn't be surprised if 19 is the same.
Shimanuki made episode 12, hopefully he can pull off a better effort now, being the franchise veteran that he is.
Oka Tatsuya is returning from episode 6, which was handled by a team of three..maybe he's not doing it by himself again.

Oh, and Yashima's turn is coming a bit later in the rotation this time.

Yamamuro working with Kitano again makes sense given that this is kind of the first episode of the Fukkatsu no F arc...sort of. Yamamuro might want to exert his control on the TV version, too.

Shimanuki isn't as good an animator anymore, so I don't really see his episode being good. His episodes of One Piece in recent years have become the sort of go-to for sacrificing an episode for the sake of staying ahead of schedule. He's basically the new Uchiyama Masayuki.

Oka's episode will probably have Manabe helping out. Oka worked with two other animation supervisors on his episodes of Disk Wars: Avengers, so it makes sense.

The writer for episode 20 is Toshio Yoshitaka, who previously wrote episodes 3, 7, 8, and 9.

So we're back to jumping from writer to writer each week again? Should be interesting.

Speaking of writers, would Toriyama be willing to personally write an episode once the U6 arc kicks off? I'm curious about that. He wrote a movie which is much longer, after all.

It might not be impossible. Scripts tend to be the one thing that are usually written pretty far in advance. The average script is written in about two weeks, so that's certainly better than a weekly schedule.

For those wondering about who is doing the art, it is :
#19 Sei'ichiro Sugiura
#20 Yoshiyuki Shikano
I could not translate for episode 21 and 22.

Fudge. One Piece already has a movie in the works; why do they need a special on-top of the movie?
I don't like One Piece enough to feel like even more extra animated stuff for them is worth the hit to Super. ( T _ T ) Precure, yeah. One Piece, no.

Toei can make db super a lot better if they want to, but they dont for some reason. Look at the digimon series for example, it look so good.

I think Digimon Tri was mostly freelancers, or people outside Toei from what I read on twitter.

Precure looks good because it's figuratively made with love by many highly skilled people.

Super's biggest dilemma imo is there just isn't enough time for stuff to get done as good as it could. Time and talent.

Digimon Adventure tri. is mostly sub-contracted to folks outside of Toei Animation. PreCure is made by talented staff who also happen to be big fans of PreCure and animation in general. Dragon Ball Super is made on the quick with bad sub-contracting studios, few good animators and a bad chief animation supervisor and character designer who designs ugly shit.

I am worried that episode 22 may not have decent animation as the animation supervisor working on it has done episode 3, 9 and 15, which were all below average in my book.

Ehh..seriously, after i watched latest Princess Precure episode, despite it being filler like, it have so nice animation http://angryanimebitches.com/2015/11/go ... pisode-41/ I don't wanna sound like broken record, but not even off shots looked bad, why Super can't have so much love and care put into it like Precure series? And it is created to sell figures too, yet it never go below acceptable level in terms of animation
