Hmm. Seems Toonami Asia are using FUNi dub for their Z re runs (if episode titles are anything to go on). Perhaps they will use a FUNi dub afterall? In the press release it also refers to it as "English language world premiere". Hmm.

If so then Toonami US better be airing it at the same time, it would line up pretty well with Kai taking 13 months to start airing on US TV.

Yeah might be a case of someone beating FUNi to the punch like how MangaUK announced BoG and "F", on DVD/BD before FUNi and in BoG case spoiling the surprise of the extended cut.

It does, but that image does look very legitimate. Toei has been changing the F arc a bit already, by introducing Vados and Champa early. And F seemed like a film that lacked in content on purpose, so who knows? Disregarding the plot hole that Ginyu should either be on New Namek or dead, it's an interesting twist.

I can get them changing F around, if only because the movie just came out on DVD and they want entice fans to buy both the movie and Super so having them each distinctly different is a smart move imo.

I think BOG was far enough in the rear view mirror where they felt they didn't need to change much in Super's version.

I like were this is going. Ginyu is a great character with a perfect amount of silliness and intelligence. Kinda weird Freeza wants to murder Kuririn, could they be planning to expand Jaco's interaction with him. Making the patrol man think Kuririn is a big a shot, playing it for laughs.

I sure hope this is real. I don't wanna be disappointed with a boring, frame-for-frame retelling.

Really hoping all of this stuff is true. As boring as seeing Battle of Gods just go through the motions yet again in Super may have been, F was in a lot more need of being tweaked and expanded upon as it was, so I'll be really happy if they really are adding some more to it somehow. And bringing Ginyu back into it somehow would be a great idea if done right, he was definitely one of the more memorable villains in the series.

I really don't think the wish to not bring evil people applied to random people unrelated to Buu and Babidi. They weren't trying to go all Death Note on the world. In fact, considering how there are no comments from the humans about missing people after everyone is brought back, that implication seemed to be completely overlooked by Toriyama while writing that scene.

Ginyu's coming back? thats a surprise, so this time Freeza doesnt kill Tagoma eh... seems like I'm gonna enjoy RoF arc of Super then, hoping Freeza doesnt 1shot Gohan again.
Please let Freeza see Trunks and Goten, I would love to see the look on his face when he see's mini versions of the ones that killed him

This time Gohan seems to have problems with Tagoma (unlike in the movie where he easily beat Shisami), I can't really see him taking on Freeza at all - unless him going SSJ is treated as a big power up here (like SSJ x Ultimate).

It doesn't need to be complex. Gohan fights, gets knocked around for a bit, digs deep and transforms into a Super Saiyan, then defeats Tagoma or Gi'nyuu. There's no need for a new transformation or whatever, just the simple Super Saiyan form.

Gohan only winning because Gi'nyuu is an idiot is an even better idea. Then again, if Gi'nyuu actually does become stronger than Tagoma it would give Vegeta another fight before fighting Freeza.

Also, according to ep.21's summary, Freeza promises to give a planet to whichever henchmen of his kills Kuririn. The rest all looks the same as RoF. Freeza's still training for 4 months, etc.
