Unless Pilaf's transformation isn't seperate, and the last character is either Black in his mecha or the farmer. ;)

I don't see why it wouldn't count. Besides, we knew every single character for Budokai 3, Sparking!, and the original release of Sparking! NEO prior to the game's release. I don't see why it would be any different now.

My intention is not to double-post or bump, but I figured someone might enjoy viewing this:

Tenshinhan vs. Cyborg Tao Pai Pai

Tao Pai Pai has an awesome rush move where he cuts the fuck out of you with his knife!

Now if only we could get good video of Apple and Freezer's Soldier fighting....

Freezer's Soldier and Apple both get totally creamed in the above video. But the best part is; the fight takes place on Freezer's Spaceship, floating above Planet Vegeta!
I already posted that video. By good video, I meant them actually, you know, fighting. Using specials and whatnot. Not being torn apart by an angry Burdock.

Wow, Cyborg Tao pai pai rocks, his cut attack is special and different from the others and his UB is so freaking cool! The only thing that is weird is how come he can't fly, Crane Assasin Arts teaches you to walk on air. (eg Tenshinhan, Chiaotzu)

Let me use this as another chance to tell Bandai to eat shit.

*shrugs* Taopaipai never seemed to be able to fly as far as I'm aware. Despite that handicap the character translates very well into this game. I love using the original Tao. I can only imagine using this one. Sadly we didn't get to see his common blast move but that rush attack looked downright painful. All I can say is that I can barely contain the envy I feel towards the lucky fans in Japan and Europe who will get these characters before the rest of us sorry smucks. :x

If they're gonna stick to their statement of transformations you would imagine that the Pilaf transformation would be the one character, but hey what do I know.

From what I saw in a video here it's a transformation. It's pretty obvious but just done differently. Here's hoping we get these in the next Sparking! game. 8)

By saying "before", it looks like you're implying we will get this updated version, which we don't even know if we will. I doubt it'd be in the "Greatest Hits" Ps2 release simply because the extra elements were never implemented for the original Japanese Ps2 release. The reason we received the upgraded Budokai 3 in "GH" form was mainly because a version was already completed by Bandai for the EU/PAL re-release, and that was only because the JP version had the extra stuff to begin with. That most likely might not happen for BT2/NEO, seeing as the JP/PAL/NA versions are exactly alike outside of music replacement and English translating.

As for a re-release for the NA Wii version, will the Wii even have "Greatest Hits"-type releases for its games?

I'm willing to bet that Nintendo will roll out with a Player's Choice line for Wii before February 2008.

That's just unexceptable. No one told them to rush a PS2 version if they wanted to add a few characters and another level two months later. Heck, I would have welcomly waited for it. Especially if they would have said that one of those characters would be King Piccolo and the Freeza ship level. Bad enough they skimped on the FMV and narration.

Apple vs. Kiwi. Unfortunately, for a 6:22 video, we don't get to see his ultimate.

Actually, Atari did, that's why the company that made Budokai 1 to 3 (wich i now forgot completly @_@) quit making "big" games, because Atari has this stupid "one game per year" rule, that's why almost all games come out kinda crappy and unfinished.
