This idea comes from believing that the true timeline is the one that Cell came from, right? Which doesn't revoke what I'm saying. The timeline that we know, already existed before Cell traveled in time, otherwise there would be no manga, ha. Timelines are already existent.
TheDevilsCorpse wrote:Just because it doesn't make any sense to you doesn't mean that's not how it works. If you want to believe otherwise for your personal canon, that's fine. But there's no need to question others for following the the rules established by the franchise.
I would love if you could reference the manga, because I seriously can't find where these rules are stated.

I never said anything about fixing his own timeline.

That doesn't prove anything? As the reader, we follow along the the original version of the timeline for the majority of the story. The future of that timeline is already unfolding ahead of where we are reading, but we don't really get to see it because we almost exclusively follow along with the relevant branch that splinters off once we get to that point (outside of the Trunks relevant flashbacks/flashforwards/whatever you want to call them).

I can't properly point you in the direction of anything in the manga, because the only version I have access to is an adaptation and I don't know how things are phrased in Japanese. Most of the bits about Trunks' time machine being imperfect and why Trunks can't go further back in time and alter the past of the timeline he is in is when they are moving Goku to Kame House via plane. You'll have to ask Herms for further clarification, but something inspired all the subsequent information in guidebooks about the time machine creating timelines though.

It would be cool if Tori-bot will be the announcer/referee of the Universe 6 tournament.

Only way i would want it would be if they got Toriyama himself to voice him.

Other than that, it may look a little out of place for a tournament between universes.

Off-Topic

But since this is the manga thread...I decided to ask here, because there's always some well informed people and japanese/people living in japan that may know about this.
Its not about V-Jump, but about Weekly Shonen Jump.

Can anyone tell me why WSJ year goes from December (Issue 1) - November (Issue 52), instead of January - December?

I've been wondering about this with a friend of mine and we can't find the answer. I know about the issues and holidays, but can't find a answer for this.
Why in November we have issue 52, and then in December the issue number restarts?! Why not wait for January? That's when the new year officially starts.

December, its not even when WSJ started or became weekly.

It's a cover date. This isn't just a Jump thing either. Magazines in general, around the world, are usually dated in advance.

Haha, yeah... :(

I absolutely support a Tori-bot cameo or role. Especially voice acting for the anime. That'd be interesting... and so would the subsequent dubbing

I didn't know about that term. And I thought it was a japanese thing only...
Thanks for the info.

We should have some scans this week, right? Can't wait, at the pace the manga is going, I wouldn't be surprised if the chapter finishes while the tournament begins.
I want some juicy new designs for the opponents.
How fun would it be if the chapter started with Goku watching Piccolo power up and saying, "You've finally become a God! You can even rival me and Vegeta." :)

I'm excited to find out what Team Beerus looks like and see what new characters they're battling against from Team Champa.

I really want Beerus to organize a boot camp. Imagine him screaming for people to do push-ups, Goku going "I rather Whis trained us", SLAP! Goku goes flying destroying a planet; Vegeta smirks, PUNCH! Piccolo going " were have I got myself into..." It would be gold.:D

I hope Team Champa has a girl and a wild beast like creature. Some diversity with special abilities, please!

Now that Universe 6 arc started, I will always be expecting to see the new characters Toriyama promised, in the next chapter.
Maybe we will see some of them this year yet.

And now without a movie version to compare, the manga pacing won't seem so fast.

I still like to see a demonic character in Super. I always feel like the DB universe needs more demons and we haven't had one since Janemba.

I just want the Dragons to be explored. What are they? There'd they come from? Where do they go/live? Is there a Dragon Realm? etc.

I'm sure those questions will be answered eventually.
It would be silly to introduce Super Dragon Balls and then not really offer up some exposition on where those came from and what their connection are with the normal Dragon Balls and the Dragons.

Looking forward to this weeks chapter of Super. I hope Toyble has some good plot elements in store for us :D

Oh if only somehow the Uni 6 arc would include Towa and Mira with their time traveling shenanigans crashing the god tournament, or also secretly hunting after the SDBs for their own nefarious purposes. But their existence in the franchise will forever be confined to the video games.
