Goku finally gets the statue he deserves next to Shonen Jump Building. I can dream
Maybe a new game. Xenoverse 2 is the right direction to go. Or Universe 6 arc characters reveal.
Anwyay, doubt its a new movie. Next year, is One Piece turn.
It could be, but there are all those awful speed subs that are up to date too..i'm inclined to believe someone who was bothered by their releases snitched them out. Toei went after bootlegs in the past, but never really cared enough about fansubs to do the dirty work by themselves.Doctor. wrote:Maybe because DT is seriously behind the current episodes, so they wouldn't be worth the hassle?
Perhaps the reason why DT hasn't been uploading could be because they have /already/ been cease-and-desisted.Araki wrote:Well, that's seriously annoying. Not only because Over8000 was doing a great job, but also the fact Toei doesn't offer any legal alternative, and in this day and age no one is willing to wait months or years to watch a show.FutureGohanSSJ2 wrote:Welp. Dragon Ball Super subs are dead. The last /good/ translation group just got cease-and-desisted from Toei.
That said, i'm sure another group will pop up in its place. And i wonder why they didn't go after DragonTeam?
He's terrible. He doesn't know what he's doing.FutureGohanSSJ2 wrote:but someone by the name of KenXyro is doing DBS subs, and I watched his and Over8000's Episode 19's almost back-to-back, and they were very similar.

Ehh but that's nothing really major though. I know we want a great translation, but for what we have left, there's not much room for complaining, I don't think. Is he the best? No. But...what's the alternative?Ajay wrote:He's terrible. From Herms' own Twitter feed:
He makes mistakes that bad every single week and never bothers to correct them.
He's behind KamiFS and AnimeCruzers. He shouldn't be praised.
The only things he got right were tidbits that Herms had tweeted immediately after the episode aired.
Doing without and simply going by the summaries posted on Kanzenshuu.FutureGohanSSJ2 wrote: Ehh but that's nothing really major though. You've got it made, man. You speak Japanese and have access to Japanese television. Unfortunately, the rest of us aren't as lucky, and we're missing out because Toei won't let us give them our money so we can watch it.VegettoEX wrote:This was never a place for you to discuss how you were illegally watching the show, anyway. Well damn. I just don't know how any of you will get by having to wait a bit for a cartoon.FutureGohanSSJ2 wrote:You've got it made, man. You speak Japanese and have access to Japanese television. Our money is not worth the trouble to the production committee members. You can complain all you like and watch fansubs all you like but don't pretend you have any moral high ground for your argument. You'd rather view the series through illegal means and that's all there is to it. Turn the page.FutureGohanSSJ2 wrote:Unfortunately, the rest of us aren't as lucky, and we're missing out because Toei won't let us give them our money so we can watch it.VegettoEX wrote:This was never a place for you to discuss how you were illegally watching the show, anyway. Speaking has someone not watching the subs, you can't say they'd "Rather" view the series illegally if there is no legal option. I'm sure if there was a legal option they'd take it, but there isn't one.JulieYBM wrote:Our money is not worth the trouble to the production committee members. You say I'd "rather". Do you know what "rather" implies? That there's another alternative. As of now, there is not. You should see my Dragon Ball collection. I own Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and Dragon Ball Z Kai, at least 5 or 6 times over. I have put so much money into this franchise, it is ridiculous. However, I am not going to go to the extremes, here. I'm not about to move to Japan just to watch a series once a week. That's crazy talk. I would love to pay for a subscription fee or something. But no. There is no other alternative. It's still illegal, technically I suppose, but it's different. It's not like I'm torrenting Avengers on Blu-ray when it's available for purchase in every Walmart or gas station store you drive by down the highway. This is a show that is literally only available on TV in Japan. It's a bit of a different situation here.JulieYBM wrote:Our money is not worth the trouble to the production committee members. We established in a prior post made not one hour ago that it was entirely possible to simply do without. That is your alternative. Nobody's going to stone you for watching fan subs but acting like it isn't wrong to explicitly mention it on someone else's private property when they have made it clear in the rules you agreed to prior to registration that mention of such acts is not allowed is a pretty not-good thing to do.FutureGohanSSJ2 wrote:You say I'd "rather". Lmao. Geez dude. You act like you've known me for years. I never said I didn't think watching fansubs was wrong. I told you that I would much rather buy the Blu-ray. But this is 2015. Toei is dumb. People are going to watch what they want to, and if you don't give it to them through legal means, unfortunately, people in this day and age will just do what they want and watch it illegally. It's just a fact of life these days.JulieYBM wrote:Wrote this before I saw Mike's post, but I'm just going to drop it off here for the heck of it and be done with it.
