Even if a movie gets announced, Universe 6 arc will be already happening in Super in 2016. Besides the way the Universe 6 arc is shaping up it'd be very difficult for them to do it in a movie run time hence why decided to make a new series.

That's kind of my assumption as well, even before we knew anything about the arc other than 'going to another universe'. With the movies doing so well and being less of a continual commitment than a show, it seemed like they had to be switching to a show for a reason, and that seemed the most likely one to me.

Well, other than maybe wanting to not work with Fox anymore on things.

Yeah or they could've spun a set of films out of the Universe 6 arc like they're doing for Digimon Tri, but I guess they ultimately thought a new DB series would be better then a new Digimon series and that's why we got what we did and at the back of Kai might seemed like a logical thing to do. Either way a standalone U6 film I don't think is possible, the fact that we have no Champa/Vados means they're open to do whatever they want for the movie continuity and with Toriyama enjoying this new style of work I see why he couldn't write a fun little movie again in a few years.

No, that announcement is in a December magazine doubt we'll see any leaks this early.

OMG Whis' picture being him giving a cheeky wink. And Beerus looking so extra-Beerus. They are such fun characters; I never expected to enjoy them as much as I do. XD

Can't wait to see what fun plot-nuggets are up ahead in this chapter!

That's not the cover of the next chapter. That's a promotional image for the issue that's not yet out. You can see that it's promoting the January 2016 issue (the next one out), which is due out on November 21 (which it lists as the date right there on the image).

Is it just me or Goku and Vegeta appear to be in regular SSJ1 in those small pictures? I mean from what we've seen of SSJGSSJ aka SSJ Blue in chapter 5, there were slight differences in the hair color compared to SSJ1.

Could this be a hint of Goku/Vegeta somehow losing the god power? I may be overthinking things but idk

Edit: Ah I see it. I'd much rather it be a new movie. Xenoverse 2 would be interesting too I guess but the first one wasn't exactly a good game so I wouldn't be able to get too excited for it.

We established in a prior post made not one hour ago that it was entirely possible to simply do without. That is your alternative. Nobody's going to stone you for watching fan subs but acting like it isn't wrong to explicitly mention it on someone else's private property when they have made it clear in the rules you agreed to prior to registration that mention of such acts is not allowed is a pretty not-good thing to do.

No, my complaint is people watching the subs being insulted.

Our money is not worth the trouble to the production committee members. You can complain all you like and watch fansubs all you like but don't pretend you have any moral high ground for your argument. You'd rather view the series through illegal means and that's all there is to it. Turn the page.

is an insult. You're acting like people are morally in the wrong for viewing the show illegally, when that is the only option available to watch it. There is no moral wrong here, because there is no choice.

And no, "Don't watch it" is not an answer here, because the question is "Where should I watch it" not "Will i watch it?"

And keep in mind, i have no stake in this. I don't watch the subs period, i'm waiting for the dub.

it does not matter if its the only option to watch it because its illegal and not meant to be seen by audience outside of Japan as of yet. That's the reason fansubs are getting shut down or in some cases people are getting arrested. Its just like any other piracy in internet. Pirate Bay keeps changing their domain name for a reason, because its illegal.

That's the reason fansubs are getting shut down or in some cases people are getting arrested. Its just like any other piracy in internet. Pirate Bay keeps changing their domain name for a reason, because its illegal.

My problem is with the insults

If you don't have a stake in this then you're not being insulted. Society determined that illegal stuff is bad so, if you are doing something illegal, you are being morally wrong.

Yeah, those are stock shots. This is like the little introduction they have at the beginning of tankobons, reusing old panels to present the main characters.

About the fansub thing: i think pretty much everyone knows it's illegal, no matter what. What's annoying is the fact Toei doesn't offer a legal alternative, which is inexcusable in this day and age, especially for a franchise this size. That is a legit complaint. Had they a simulcast i would be happily paying to be watching it, but for now, they seem to have no plans other than hunting a fansub group.

Japan and some western countries on the other side of the pacific(most notable USA of course) are in talks about a Trans-Pacific Partnership to fight copyright infringement, which means it'll obviously be much harder to infringe, so perhaps people won't be even be able to watch Super illegally sometime in the new year.

Everything in the link is ~two months old, but the image looks like the schedule for one of the delayed regions. It has Episode 11 scheduled for October 11th?
