I hope it's finally time Piccolo gets relevant again, let's not forget up to Android Saga he had been rival to Goku and two times the strongest character (1st time when he fused with Nail, 2nd when he fused with Kami)
Piccolo was always very dedicated to training and fighting. He was a fighter at heart unlike Gohan. I see him much more similar to Goku and Vegeta than any other character we have. He is also a fucking cool character, let's not forget about him. He is a fan's favorite, and personally, one of my favorite characters.

I'm so desperate for this too. The franchise has been way overdue for some female SSJ's and this is the golden opportunity for it. Please don't drop the ball Toriyama.

That's not a good comparison. By the way I don't remember Piccolo being the strongest unfused character by the over of the Boo Arc.

If Planet Vegeta still exists in Uni 6, it's possible there are saiyans who know about the ssjg legend and that way you can still get female blueper saiyans without asking Shenlong about it.

That's the problem. Being similar to Goku and Vegeta. Piccolo more or less offers exactly what Goku and Vegeta already offer. So we're just adding more of the same thing, with a different kind of cool. I'd rather Boo be more prominent than Piccolo as he's more goofy and bizarre. He's cares more about stuffing his face and getting the sweets he wants. He has a love for fighting as he was extremely eager to fight before they took that quality away from him. He's short tempered and more of baby than Goku is. He has magical powers and his body bizarreness brings up so much potential for fighting possibilities. Piccolo is just more of the same. Hence why he was pretty much ditched by the Cell arc. I don't want everyone to have the same kind of mindset and motivation. It's boring. Drastic different personalities that bounce off each other is far more interesting than having more characters who more or less want and think the same for their goals.

Champa hasn't seen SSGSS I don't think so I doubt he'll query his Saiyans about it or SSG or SS for that matter. The SSG legend seems like a really lost one so I doubt anyone on Planet Vegeta will know about it and if they do then I doubt they'd know how to summon one. At most I can see Champa's Saiyans going SS, if he does indeed bring them.

I thought the rumours of Broly and Bardock were stupid, but now I'm not so sure. I wonder if they'll play into that fan-fic of Bardock going back in time to become the legendary Super Saiyan. Maybe he went to U6 and they're a thousand years behind

Not really. Gohan sucks balls and is the new Yamcha now a days, while also getting weaker and weaker over time. Gotenks would probably be illegal since he's two people fused together. So that leaves Boo being the strongest under Goku and Vegeta.

Nah, SSJ3 would be overkill. Since it is stated that SSJ Gotenks = SSJ3 Goku, so yea SSJ would be enough to Gotenks beat Fat Boo. But how about Mr. Boo? How much power he lost after split? Would he still stomp Majin Vegeta?

He held his own against Kid Boo in the manga, and Kid Boo was SSJ3-tier in strength.

Because of Minus, I feel like Toriyama's going to ignore Ooishi's Bardock story. Brolli I don't think will show up either since Toriyama didn't create him and Brolli's creator publicly dissed Beerus as a character.

Piccolo and Vegeta need a good win in this tournament, they haven't had a major win in a very long time. I know Vegeta was beating Frieza but if not for Whis than that would have been another loss.

Not so bothered with Buu getting a win and it might be an interesting twist of this unknown 5th fighter also gets his ass to him before it was Goku's turn.

This tournament has made me realise how few fighters we actually have. I mean, there's always the humans, but they're so weak by comparison that you'd need to jump through a lot of hoops to justify their inclusion (like RoF did).

If we're ignoring Gohan because they seem to want to retire him, the only options were Piccolo, Buu, Gotenks and 18. You could only have one out of Buu and Gotenks, otherwise it'd start getting too goofy. And 18 hasn't done anything since the 25th Budokai. Now I'm surprised by how limited the options were.
