Poll: What looks better, Super Saiyan or Bluper Saiyan?

When I first saw those figures of Goku and Vegeta with blue hair, I was like this can't be true, eww those look ugly, hopefully it's not true, but then after when I saw it in action I have to admit it looks really good!

Super Saiyan Blue is my choice!

Also a little off topic, in the english dub I realized how Goku's SSGSS voice sounds very similar to SSJ4 Goku in GT, I don't recall him sounding like that when he turns SSJ, anyone know why?

Ah, makes sense, I have to admit he did a good job of it, it really added that depth to the transformation.

Blue, I guess, and I think I can say that honestly, even envisioning it in older scenes. I was always really taken with colored manga illustrations showing light-haired Super Saiyans with a blue-ish aura.

Wow....this is a super tough question.

On the one hand, Blue is a nice change of pace. That's why I believe so many people like SSJ4, it's different. Also, it looks great on Goku. The blue with the orange gi, really pop and give the character a nice color pallet. Also, just the fact that it's NEW gives it an added boost since it's still fresh in peoples minds and it was such a big reveal leading up to Fukkatsu no F. Although I'll admit, I don't think Vegeta looks very good in this form and I doubt we'll ever see any other characters reach this form outside from Heroes and What-If's.

On the other hand, Yellow is the classic and still looks great. It's become such an iconic image not just for DB but Anime in general. Also, every character wears the yellow hair really nicely. I can't think of one SSJ design I didn't like. Even Onio looks good in it.


My vote goes to......BLUE

At this point, I suppose I'd say that the blue hair looks more aesthetically pleasing than the gold hair, though that might partly be due to the fact that it's newer and not something that pretty much every Saiyan character by this point can do.

I have to go with Super Saiyan. Why? Because it's the original. I think that Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan automatically loses points because all it is, is a recoloring of a form we already had. In the very least, Super Saiyan changed the hair (a lot for Goku). Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan is quite literally the same thing with blue hair, so for me at least, it loses points for originality.

The original Super Saiyan design is absolutely perfect to me. I like having the same hair but in blue in order to change things up a bit, but I wasn't bored with the original.

It's funny, I was just thinking about this the other day, but doesn't Goku's original Super Saiyan aura in the anime look a bit like the one he has as a SSGSS, but obviously in a different colour?
Granted they didn't keep that CG aura for SS Goku in the anime, and pretty quickly it was turned into the one we've come accustomed to, but still!

Yeah, that's true. I was thinking more like shape and how it envelops Goku.
