What are your top 5 favorite themes from all the versions of DBZ you've watched? I'm only including the original Japanese version, Funi dub, and Kai. You can include the Ocean dub if you want.

The following don't count:
- Openings (i.e. We Gotta Power and Cha La Head Cha La).
- Endings (e.g. We Were Angels)
- Insert songs (e.g. Unmei no hi, Let it Burn, Mind Power Ki, Only a Chilling Elegy, etc.).

Japanese version:
1. Solid State Scouter
2. Battle Point Unlimited
3. Believe in Tomorrow
4. The End of Buu
5. Goodbye, Son Goku

Honorable mentions: DBZ Prologue & Subtitle II, Angel, M814B, M1525, Son Goku Is The Strongest After All!

5. Super Saiyan Transformation

Honorable mentions: Hell's Bells, SSJ3 theme, Heroic Trunks, Ginyu theme, Super Buu theme, Perfect Cell theme, SSJ Vegeta theme, Vegeta Knows His Son, Time Chamber, Droids vs Bikers, Goku's Sacrifice, and the list goes on and on. Twas tough picking a top 5.

Kai:
1. Farewell
2. The Braveheart The Strong
3. The Formidable Warrior, The Saiyan
4. Requiem (To Those Who Meet Their End)
5. Heroic Faceoff

Honorable mentions: Super Saiyan Three/Stay Away From Me!, Wrath of the Gods (lost SSJ2 Gohan theme)

1. The Monster Freeza Vs The Legendary Super Saiyan
2. Genkidama
3. The End of Buu
4. Super Deciding Battle For The Whole Earth
5. Son Goku Is The Strongest After All!!

FUNi:
1. SSJ3 Theme
2. Hells Bells
3. Vegeta's SSJ Theme
4. Gohan Powers Up
5. The Dragon Theme

I refuse to acknowledge Kai's OST as some of the best tracks from that soundtrack were plagiarized.

Hi,
I'm lost with all those name.

Where come from the title of number 5 "Goodbye Son Goku" ?
I know this song is from the movie 09 "Ginga Giri-Giri Butchigiri No Sugoi Yatsu" when Gohan kill Bojack, but i have never seen this name for him.

Idem for the number 4. He is just a variation of Genkidama sound (movie 07) .
Why he got his own name ?
Other variations, like for Cha-la Head Cha-la, do not have their own name.
So, those names are coming from a specific compilation or ?

It would really only be Z original and Faulconer. Both original and dub GT are pretty nondescript, aren't they? Then there's Yamamoto's plagiarism. Haven't heard much of the new stuff. Do video games count?

Is Solid State Scouter too much of a cliche as no.1? Maybe I love it so much because the movie is so great.

Haha, I love some of these tracks. I am literally obsessed with rap music. Have you heard Chrono Jigga? Someone definitely needs to do that for DBZ.
