The in-game models for the SS3s actually look pretty bad. Worse than the images being used on their character pages and in promotion, which seems strange seeing how all the others (excluding new guys like Beerus, Golden Freeza, etc) are just new textures on Spike's last set of models. Both Goku and Vegeta looked pretty good back in the Raging Blast series, so I'm not really sure why they felt the need to shrink the hair and add in more spikes...

I agree. The hair is way too short and too spikey.

His model's face looks really off, it's not much the hair as it is the face, while not as bad as BoZ's, compared to Xenoverse it looks really really bad, Vegeta doesn't look that bad actually. UI changes are really nice and sell the 2v2-ness a bit better than before, curious to see how it looks in FFA.

Goku's face as a bit off as well, but the hair seriously does look too small and cluttered. Like I said, Spike's model in the Raging Blast games was pretty much perfect (if only a little too rounded in the face, when SS3 usually has sharper features). So I'm not really sure why they changed it when they haven't really touched any of the other characters.

The Zenkai model really feels like the equivalent of this old AB figure:

Much appreciated. He looks really badass in action, but his design, as well as Goku's, is one that's a bit disappointing for me. As much as I wanted to see him actually transform, unlike Raging Blast, I just wished that he looked better.

29/10 Saw the 3.05 update that not only included the usual balance fixes and such, added the "FRIENDS" tab to the main menu so players can keep track of their favourite partners.


And as of 13/11 players will be able to recieve another new pack of characters outfits


These outfits are:
Goku's outfit from when he was re-introduced at the 23rd Budokai
Krillin's outfit from BoG
Mecha Freeza for Freeza
Piccolo's outfit from the Drivers' episode
Gero's outfit he wore before becoming a cyborg
Vegeta's BADMAN shirt and yellow pants

Wow, I was actually banking on either Kaioshin, Super Buu or Gogeta to be joining next, guess I got one right, It's a good addition to the roster in terms of uniqueness so it's cool. Not sure about Vegeta, SSJ3 already feels like just a variation of his SSJ1 moveset, can't see them bringing anything too new to the table, hopefully they pull a page out of Xenoverse and manage something out.
