My favorite transformation sequence though is SSJ3, easily. The dramatic Kikuchi music placement, roaring Oozaru, and minute-long screaming make it extremely memorable.

I can't decide on transformation but my favorite sequence would be Cell transforming into his Perfect state.

1. Ssj3. Idk I just thought that looked like the most powerful version of goku.
2. Ssj4. It looks bad ass and fits the lore idea of the great ape.
3. Ssj God. Just looks unique and at the same time awesome.

Kaioken was pretty awesome while it lasted. During Goku's first fight with Vegeta, it looked as if his body was gonna explode due to all the power, showing the flaws of the technique, but the beauty in the temporary strength that came with it. A transformation with limits that was often used out of desperation. Not something the user could be depend on infinitely, making for good drama. And I just genuinely like the look of it, what with the dark red and black color scheme.

Favorite form is SSJ2. It doesn't look as ridiculous as SSJ3 and I like how it's a sharper version of SSJ1. My favorite transformation is Gohan SSJ2 against Cell.

I entirely agree with this.
SS2 just looks the best and I'm disappointed we won't be seeing more of SS2 Goku in Super.

I think that the basic Super Saiyan is the overall best transformation, though the concept of having Super Saiyan 4 be an amalgamation of Ozaru and Super Saiyan is genius. It's, at the very least, better than having a shinier, sparklier version of Super Saiyan with longer hair. coughSuperSaiyan3cough

Design wise - SSJ4. Could probably do without magic clothes being part of the transformation but the idea was great. Mix of Oozaru and Saiyan is fantastically fitting within the lore. It was unexpected, new, different and yet still very pretty. SSG/SSB feel utterly lazy in comparsion

Transformation sequence - easy. Gohan turning SS2 and Future Trunks turning SS1. Cell saga had the best drama and character writing tho so there isn't much competition

My favourite has to be super saiyan 2 especially when Gohan turns ssj2 in the cell games. That just gave me chills. Also I love the way it looks, the electricity around them just makes them look more badass. In second place has to be kaio-ken and when goku does the kamehame in kaio-ken *20. That was awesome.

I always liked the Kaioken technique. Not sure if one would class it as a transformation, but it is my favorite power-up for any character. When Goku used it against Vegeta, it looked really cool to me, but my favorite moment is after Goku mastered the use of it on the way to Namek. He was then capable of a x10 in quick bursts, and the normal x2 one for extended periods of time without much detrimental side-effects. When he used the basic Kaioken and doubled his 90,000 to 180,000 in front of the Ginyu guys, that is my favorite sequence. Goku then boasted that it was only the tip of the iceberg, hinting that he could go much higher in quick bursts (referencing his x10 power of 900,000 without actually displaying it). That is my favorite power-up moment, the flaming aura of the Kaioken, Goku's hair upright (a bit of foreshadowing of his reaching a threshold where Super Saiyan would soon be possible for him), Ginyu's scouter blipping up rapidly, and the dumbfounded looks on Jeice and Ginu's faces when they begin to realize what they are tangling with.

So many other times in the series or movies, Goku tells his opponents to stand down, go home or whatever, and they just blindly, arrogantly bum rush him regardless. This is the only time where someone had the means and the intellect to realize that they were just straight up outmatched and needed to give up, or come up with a different strategy. (Body change trump card in Ginyu's case)
