Maybe I'm overly worrying but I want DBS to have as much chance to extend past the Universe 6 arc.
There is nothing that I could find airing at 9am in japan other than repeats. However there is a music channel that airs concerts? I am guessing, and it gets rating anywhere from a 3.9 to 4.9
This does air at 9AM as well. Generally speaking, this show does sometimes manage to get into the top 10, sometimes hanging around 3.0-4.0%.

It getting extended or cancelled depends on it's merchandise sales which are really good now so if Toriyama had more stories then chances are it'll go on.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

In terms of ratings Super is holding on it's own pretty good. In terms of merchandise, it's doing pretty well too, I mean even in Mcdonald's you can get a dragon ball figurine in japan.

There are toys too, I remember seeing commercials of kids playing with figures they get from Mcdonalds, like this onehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t54b0gXycbc. However yea most recent news is for the cards.

As far as ratings are concerned, it's doing just fine. We won't know about the merchandise sales until the Bandai Namco Fiscal figures report.

A 5.0 seems low but One Piece is very low along with it, only a 7.3 this week.

The only shows that improved in ratings was Crayon Shin-chan and Pokemon XYZ. Every other show dipped pretty bad, especially Kindaichi Case Files. It went from a 6.0 to a 4.5. Yikes.

These ratings really matter? Like if DBS get some time out of the top 10, will be cancelled? I know nothing about them and people seem to care a lot.
English is not my main language. Sorry if I make a mistake.

The ratings changed a lot.
For example, here's a top 10 with the averages from the first half of 2000.
1.- Sazae-San (Sunday - 18:30 - Fuji TV) = 22.2
2.- Detective Conan (Monday - 19:30 - YTV) = 19.4
3.- Chibi Maruko-Chan (Sunday - 18:00 - Fuji TV) = 15.5
4.- Doraemon (Friday - 19:00 - TV Asashi) = 14.4
5.- Kochikame (Sunday - 19:00 - Fuji TV) = 14.0
6.- Kindaichi Case Files (Monday - 19:00 - YTV) = 13.9
7.- Crayon Shin-Chan (Friday - 19:30 - TV Asashi) = 13.4
8.- Pokémon (Thursday - 19:00 - TV Tokio) = 13.2
9.- One Piece (Wednesday - 19:00 - Fuji TV) = 12.9
10.- Digimon Adventure (Sunday - 9:00 - Fuji TV) = 11.7

More competition for audiences' attentions (internet, streaming) and fewer people in Japan having children; that's why I think it's down all around.
On hiatus.

Pokemon regularly falls out of the Top 10 and Super consistently has higher ratings than it. I'm not sure why you guys are worried about Super ending early because of low ratings when Pokemon does far worse than it and its been running for 18 years.

Pokémon also sells a lot more merchandise, that's what matters honestly.

Its all about the merchandise. You can look anything else as a promotion for selling merchandise.
