GT - Why SSJ4 Goku is an adult

I took ssj4 as a method so strong, Goku broke through the magic the dragon put on him. And because he had adult clothes to begin with before the dragon shrank him, he mustve reversed the magic placed on his clothes unintentionally , except his shirt, which ripped out with him when he became ssj4

I don't think it has anything to do with the spell. Was that even a stay young forever wish? I always thought he just got turned into a kid and started growing up again.
I figured SS4 was just a transformation that made him a adult to better handle the power, like others said if a actual kid achieved SS4 I think they would become a adult for that time. Plus he changes back to a kid when he returns to base.
The only thing I ever thought was magical about SS4 was the pants.

because Goku had those very pants as an adult, before Shebron magically shrunk Goku and his pants, the ssj4 reversed the spell on his pants

If Freeza regenerating armor is okay, manifesting pants (that probably even come from energy control to convert it to matter) are okay as well.

That's true, but that should also be the case for any Fusion's Gi. For Example, Gogeta's White Pants must be magical as well. At least SSJ 4 pants are the same Goku was wearing as an adult, so that kinda makes sense...

I do suppose if SSJ4 brings its user to the fullest limits, that might include an adult body for Goku. Since his kid form might not technically count as his full potential, for mystical reasons perhaps, or whatever the Black Star Dragonballs did, I can see why he can change his body like so.
