New transformations?

So do you guys think there will be any new SSJ transformations? Maybe the answer is yes because they probably want to sell merchandise and advertise that merchandise. Though I am pretty content if Bluper is the last transformations, like it's blue! My favorite color but I digress.

Any theories of what it could be? I think it would be Super Saiyajin Blue with Kaioken!

I think blue is it, but I wouldn't be surprised if there's more. What color could they use though?

Red/magenta - no, because ssjg
Orange - no too close to red
Yellow - no because ssj
Green - no because Brolli
Blue - no because blueper
Indigo - not bright enough a color imo
Violet - no because Beerus already cornered the market on violet

If they're changing colors, at least change the appearance for the new hypothetical transformation.

C'mon yo! If Goku used Kaioken in his SSJB state then it could be like a mixed aura of red and blue. Or, a red aura but keeping the blue hair.

I don't think they can get away with it again by just changing the color of the hair and surrounding aura. Third time's not a charm here.

I really do think they've hit the saturation point again with transformations. It's going to require something entirely new for them to move forward, whether that be tactical or something else. Transformations aren't going to cut it, and while that does work against the marketing side of things, I definitely think they've hit the point where they can't just do another transformation, nevermind it being just another recolor.

But it's just color, I want something else. I don't want Aura, I want appearance.

I was never a big fan of the new colored transformation, but an interesting theory I've seen circulating on the net is that these colors might be based on heat intensity, so if there is a next one it might be based on white ?

Either way, I'm also hoping for a bit more creativity

White ssj2 is a possibility if we are going with heat colors + next ssj level. I really just want to be done with transformations though. Blueper broke my heart back then because I really liked ssjg Gokû so much. I've had enough recolors. ( ; _ ; )

While in theory I'd be kind of fine with seeing new hair colored forms that are essentially 'Super Saiyan God powers used by this previous SS2/3 form', like SSGSS is...I'm not sure it's something I really wanna see either. I mean, it would definitely be getting even older by the point we got to that, and it would also fly in the face of Toriyama's previous statements about 2 and 3 not really getting used much anymore because of them not really being the best way to go about getting stronger. It wouldn't be the first time Toriyama changed his mind later, but still.

I'd like to see them come up with some other way to indicate a new level of strength rather than just slapping a new hair color/design on someone. I guess if they had to do something like that though, maybe make it where they 'tame' the power back to a form closer to their base, so we get Goku fighting in a really strong form with his base hair again (which was one of the main things I enjoyed about Super Saiyan God). Guess that wouldn't really do much for Vegeta though, hmm...

I'd like them to get his base hair back too. I've never been much a fan of Gokû's ssj hair because it looks too much like Vegeta's with bangs instead of a widow's peak.

Probably not unless DBS goes on for several arcs… I think they can get a lot of mileage out of blueper yet. I wish they had kept SSG for longer, but oh well.

I think we're gonna stick with SSJB for quite a while. I mean, Toei and Bandai have already heavily milked the new SSJ God forms as it is, and as VegetttoEX pointed out, I don't think they afford to pull off another recolour and pass it off as a new transformation. Toei will most likely have to come up with a radically different transformation, just like they did with the design and concept of SSJ4.

If theres going to be someone stronger than Beerus, than I'm sure we are going to see more transformations. They brought SSG out of no where, so they could come up with a complete new design if they wanted. It may not even be in the Super Saiyan group. To be honest it wouldn't have to be a form thats naturally in Saiyan DNA. When theres new forms people get hyped and tune in as I'm sure Toei will take advantage of that.

There was almost 2 years of serialisation between SSJ and SSJ2. At least a year after that until SSJ3. If they're going to make new transformations, they're not going to do it for a while. Hopefully.

It's really easy to come up with a new one, and Dragon Ball isn't the best at justifying their existence, but...I hope that changes.

I'm actually hoping they tone it down a bit with the transformation's. i mean, i don't want to have it end up where i actually have to think which form is which xD. but if they do, i hope they go with something more unique. Not just another recolor ofcourse, but i'm fine with Super Saiyan Blue.

We've reached an absurd level in terms of the number of transformations and they power the provide. I don't really want another one, but if we do get one...I hope it's not just a recolor this time. Mike covered the why for that pretty well, so if there has to be another, it think it's time to jump back to the altered physical characteristics like that of SS1-3. Though, I'm not entirely sure what they could do with another form and still keep it simple without retreading previous paths.

They could always go the "costume" transformation route and have a magical clothes change instead of having the physical characteristics change. Ssj4 has transforming clothes. I dunno.

Eh. If I had to choose between magical clothes or another recolor, I'd take the latter without a question. That's just not what I want to see, at all.

Its enough. And when I say enough I'm not talking about saiyans only.
Beerus,Champa,Vados,Whis are characters that I don't want them to have any transformation. They should be just that strong, in their base form.

I can see ssb2 and ssb3 happening though. With training, Goku should be able to use his god ki to power up his ssj2/ssj3 forms.
But its something I don't care.
