I have a few more questions to ask.
1.

I also know that the Green Bricks and the Double Features have the Japanese soundtrack in addition to the American one. Are there any changes voice acting wise in the Green Bricks, Blue Bricks, or Double Features, like the inconsistent ones done with the Orange Brick/Dragon Box Z/Level Blu-Ray/Season Blu-Ray dub?
2. People say that the Blue Water and the Funimation dubs of the original Dragon Ball have different scripts. Perhaps this is true, but in both of the clips of the blue water dub I saw on you tube (Roshi telling the DB legend, Goku's first fight with Tao Pai Pai), they both used very similar lines (Saying that a hero will one day rise to claim the dragon balls in the former, "Amateur!" in the latter. It's worth noting that the hero line wasn't in the Funi subtitles. (Neither was the "Amateur!" line, but the former is more noticeable.) How connected are the Blue Water and Funi dub scripts?
3. As many of you know, the script 2010 uncut Funi dub of Curse of the Blood Rubies was based on the 1995 BLT Funi dub, and the script for that dub was based on the 1980s Harmony Gold dub. Arguably, this makes the Harmony Gold dub the most faithful to the original...except for the name changes. If you were to show a child who is familiar with the Dragon Ball franchise and how everyone is
supposed to be named, would that child be confused by seeing the 1980s Harmony Gold dub? What about a child who has only seen a couple episodes from the franchise?
edit: 4. I'm curious as to the history of the different versions of the english dubs that were produced very close to each other. Basically, the toonami, vhs edited, vhs uncut and the dvd (singles) uncut versions of the DB,DBZ, and DBGT dubs, along with the Westwood dub of DBZ (The Blue Water dubs of DB and DBGT are said to have very different scripts from the Funimation dubs, however the Westwood script is mostly the same as the Funi script) and, to a lesser extent, nicktoons and uncut kai. Which version of each of these represents the "original" dub for each counterpart (as in the one recorded first and used as a base for the other variations of the dub.). All I know is that the Orange Brick/Dragon Boz redub represents the last revision of the DBZ dub, but what I am asking is which is the first?
