Anyone noticed how this scene from the Dragon Ball Super preview released months ago hasn't been used in the show (yet)?
Did they create this just for the preview or did they start making Universe 6 arc episodes really early on? This scene is similar to that part in the manga where...
Spoiler:
Champa visits Beerus's home to have a food contest with him.

Then again, this will just make it even more stupid when Goku tells Freeza to go back home. Hopefully he doesn't in Super.
Why would he show anger? Nobody "died" in the film.
Because Freeza came back? Y'know, that one guy Goku absolutely despises and killed a lot of his friends a couple of years ago. I assumed he would have been at least a bit annoyed when he came back. But nothing besides arrogance.
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

Freeza isn't a threat though. At least not to Goku, Goku just mastered SSG. What did you expect? Also he let Freeza go on Namek despite all the stuff he did.

Yeah, but he still tried to kill Freeza at the end once Freeza betrayed him. And Freeza was killed by Goku in the future timeline, so it's not like Goku is against killing him if necessary. So I don't get why he acted so buddy-buddy with him in the film, offering him even more chances to go home.

There's more money to be made in hosting scans of a complete manga chapter that you can span across one or more web pages plastered with ads than there is in a site with an archive of a single news item. Evergreen content versus one-off, timely content.
In these cases it's rarely about providing information and being helpful to your fellow fans. It's about making a buck, and doing so sooner than the other guy.

I know this is only for advertisment, but could there be any slight chance of it actually happening? They used Goku & Vegeta's new outfits for this afterall
It's a Maruchan ad for a contest to decide what type of "Fusion" of ramen flavors customers would enjoy. It looks like customers can submit ramen ideas. Maruchan is a Dragon Ball Super sponsor, so I wouldn't read anything further into this picture.
I guess no Gogeta in Super? Fans wanted him vs. Freeza for years now.

That's was quick! The episodes could finish the retelling before expanding Ito its own original material, the latter hasn't been shown since DBGT in 1997. I guess we may see Goku's long lost relatives in U6.

Clearly that's his ultimate technique, his ace in the hole, that we haven't been privy to seeing yet. Not even the mystery fighter was strong enough to push him to using this technique.

We know 24&25 will be Goku's fight with Freeza so that'll leave 26&27 for Vegeta's fight...hopefully.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

I don't think Vegeta is gonna get the same fight time as Goku. Probably 24,25,26 is Goku vs Freeza and 27 will be Vegeta and the planet exploding.
