Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Is it possible "Tarble 2.0" is actually a female saiyan?
The face is quite feminine...... Also, no tail, so maybe not even a saiyan?
I actually believe in all probability it is a male saiyan but still worth wondering about?

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Also, hmm...I wonder...I could be reading too much into it just off of the Freeza race guy, especially if Universe 6 has it's own Saiyans as it is, but the fact that Freeza and his father were both so much more insanely strong than anything else in the natural world of Universe 7 for a long, long time...what if they were originally from Universe 6? Heck, maybe that could go for the Saiyans too, since there was that one guidebook teaser that suggested they didn't originally come from the planet we knew as Vegeta.
Maybe the Super Saiyan God back history stuff actually took place on the original planet, all the way back over in Universe 6? After the evil Saiyans won, they practically ruined their own planet, and end up migrating (possibly along with Freeza) over to universe 7, to start anew. Granted that would leave it open for there to have to be a reason for why Freeza and his father left...man, there is so much room for expanding the mythos here now. I am so excited, more so than I've been in a while.

Well King Cold and Frieza were supposed to be the only two beings of their kind that had any kind of significant power.

I wonder if Piccolo or Buu did any training at all for this tournament? I was hoping we'd see something, but it seems it's only Goku and Vegeta training...again.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I doubt Boo did any training, but Piccolo's the kind of guy who probably did. Now whether or not Toriyama increased his power is up to anyone's guess, I think we'll have to wait until the anime reaches this point so that we can know for sure.Scorpio Kardia wrote:I wonder if Piccolo or Buu did any training at all for this tournament? What the hell is doing Winnie the pooh and badass Christopher Robin on Team Champa?
Anyways, except for The steroid pooh bear, everything looks well, I am hoping the robot has a woman inside. But that's probably thinking too much.
Also the saiyan kid.... Mmmmm why do I get the feeling he took the GT transformation path.
Also, the mystery guy has big tits.... I'm taking a wild guess and say he's one of those characters that looks and sounds like a man, then transforms to become a beautiful woman. I mean he already got the tits, he's like. 99% woman.

There's room for only one snake, and one big boss.

Just noticed that Kuririn totally has his Battle of Gods outfit on again, just still shaven. So however long after this arc takes, it's either not long enough for his hair to have come back, or he's staying shaven again.

I don't even mind if Piccolo doesn't get a huge power boost. Especially because I doubt everyone on the other team is God level. But would it have been that bad to draw Piccolo in the background of the Time Chamber doing push-ups or something?Doctor. wrote:I doubt Boo did any training, but Piccolo's the kind of guy who probably did. You'd think he would train, it would make sense. Well maybe Goku and Vegeta say something about it, even though I kind of doubt it.

You guys think we'll get some background for the new characters? Or it will just be, this is X from planet Y, he's very strong because ate many vegetables.

Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
I'm insanely curious about what Zuno tells Bulma and Jaco, though it seems that whatever it is probably doesn't come into play too heavily just yet. Also still loving that the 'King of the Universe' or whatever he was called from Minus/Jaco, is totally one of those same aliens from the two previous Katsura/Toriyama one-shots, Jiya and Sachie-chan.
Those are both totally in the Dragon World now as far as I'm concerned, until I'm proven wrong. I stand by this head-canon.

Yeah during their respective fights probably. The fat bear is the easiest one to figure out, he ate too much honey.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
Given they were supposed to ask about where the center of the universe is located and we can see in one of his speech bubbles, he states 37,196.2204 Km, it would seem he answered their question, but who knows really.Gyt Kaliba wrote:I'm insanely curious about what Zuno tells Bulma and Jaco, though it seems that whatever it is probably doesn't come into play too heavily just yet.
I'm hoping it's something more than just stating the distance to their destination.

I completely forgot that was what they were going to go ask. Hmm...what are the chances that that's the same place the tournament is about to happen?dbgtFO wrote:Given they were supposed to ask about where the center of the universe is located and we can see in one of his speech bubbles, he states 37,196.2204 Km, it would seem he answered their question, but who knows really.

I know I'm likely trying to read far too much into stuff, especially when it's not even in a language I can read...but it's pretty safe to assume that at least part of Goku and Vegeta's dialogue at the end there is 'that one guy kinda looks like Freeza!', and the Freeza-guy possibly reacting to it. Whether my earlier theory is right or not (I'm actually almost sort of hoping it's not, just because I've always found Toriyama to be at his best when he flies completely against expectation, even my own), I wonder if they at least were aware of each other.

I wonder what kind of names they'll have. I bet the bear's name is a pun on honey.
Re: Super's manga by Toyotarō
"Majin Pooh" was already a concept in toyble's DBAF. Freeza race character is a rehash of Victory Mission's "Froze".dbgtFO wrote:Oh my god![]()
U6 Saiyan looks like Ultimate Gohan, but with different eyes and eyebrows and a kid like appearance.
Purple Cell, Freeza race character, Winnie The Pooh and the Iron Giant, scaled down.
Can't wait to see this in the anime.

As for everything, I absolutely love it all.

Hello guys! New here, long time lurker first post..
But boy oh boy the hype is crazy! Getting introduced to new Characters is definitely my favorite part of it all!
I'm really digging the designs!
So what do you guys think of the designs so far? Toriyama style?
(I'm still catching up)

Had the same thought, it looked very Yamamuroish~ art.Doctor. wrote:Did Yamamuro draw that first page? It looks like his style.
Loved Goku and Vegeta's battle stance! gave me a hell of a nostalgia.
The last u7 fighter tho... you can literally see the Toriyama style in him, guess almost everyone was right that he's gonna give us a non strong looking fighter, I really hope he has a transformation but I guess his look now doesnt really bother me... dem nipple sag tho.
U6 fighters
-Saiyan kid looking Gohan ( guess he looks ok... I wonder if their universe has a different supersaiyan form unique to their own universe?)
-Freeza species gave me a hell of a xenoverse custom character vibe, not really that fond of that.
-Pooh guy... well... poooh. A good match for our version of Pooh Booh
-Ironman looks interesting, by far he's the 2nd I'm most interested in.
-Cell serious badass looking guy looks good, had a feeling Goku is gonna fight a guy looking Cell since in the cell arc he gave up on fighting him, Goku must finish his job of beating every villain on DBZ hence why Freeza got revived and now a Cell looking guy (lol just kidding)
I hope this doesnt end with just a tournament. I want war or evil plot behind the scenes.

I think everyone on the Universe 6 team has a nice design, especially the Saiyan, Purple guy and, most especially, the Frieza-like one. The guy Beerus brought along has a horrible design. It is definitely in Toriyama's style, but I still hate it, mostly the nipples. I hope he transforms. The cover for the chapter would have been better without him.GodVegetto91 wrote:Hello guys! It's nice everyone came along for the most part. Vegeta, Goku and Piccolo make an awesome trio! The panels with them together are the best.

Did i just see the same building and hourglasses like the RoSaT has in "that place"?
So that tiny little goblin like character was the strongest person Beerus ever fought!?
Lol definitely Toriyama like.
Also Whis having all of them in some sort of giant ice blok like thing was pretty neat to see.
