What haircut do you like best for teen/adult Goten?

So Goten loses his Goku-styled hair when he becomes a teen/adult. He had a long shaggy look in the last 3 episodes of DBZ, and then in GT his haircut is basically a copy of Gohan's. What do you prefer for him?

I think his first haircut makes him look way too similar to Yamcha especially when he wears the orange gi, but his GT look is so generic because he looks like a Gohan clone. I don't know, I think he needs a new style altogether.

I can see how it's similar to Gohan's hair, but an exact copy? Ehh...I always thought Vegeta's lopped off hair looked a little more similar to the Gohan hair-do.

I'm actually among the few who likes Goten's GT hair too, but I wouldn't be opposed to seeing something else done with it. Wasn't really a fan of just another long hairstyle like he had in the end of Z though - way to similar to some that Gohan and Yamcha have sported before. Maybe something that kind of looks vaguely like Goku's hair-style, but cut a lot shorter? Not really sure how to describe what I'm kind of imagining.

I honestly liked his End of Z hair the most. It looks both youthful and Son-ish. The GT look, not so much.

EOZ haircut of course. Yamcha had similar cut in the past but by EOZ he's no longer a relevant character nor has the haircut anymore so it's perfect for Goten.

GT haircut was lazy and too similar to both Gohan and Vegeta. Once again the same thing, main characters in particular need to be distinct enough in design on first glance.

I most definitely prefer the EOZ design for Teen/Adult Goten's hair, most due to the fact it looks distinct and not a near carbon copy of Vegeta's hairstyle like it did in GT.

I don't see the appeal in GT Goten's hair, it looks like someone lopped off part of it with a grass trimmer.

Long shaggy hair is very fitting for his pre established character traits, Goten was very much a free spirit like his father and really, he should have stayed this way to counterbalance city boy Trunks. His GT self is simply too far removed and alienating both in terms of appearance and personality. Nothing about Z Goten indicated he'd become a fashionable try-hard pretty boy, this was too big of a leap without showing us any prior character development. You might as well not even call him Goten at that point.

Well, there's the whole him being 'date crazy' thing at the end of Z, which is what they were pulling from. The older Goten we got there was definitely different from the younger child him we'd had just prior to that. Admittedly though, GT didn't really handle this new aspect of his character the best it could have. They took it and ran with it a little too hard.

It was never 'date crazy' tho in EOZ, 1 mention of some date. Heck, even the gender of the date wasn't specified But As you said, GT took it and ran with it WAY too hard as if they were incapable of thinking up anything new for him (or adult Trunks)

Personally, I REALLY hope they stick with his EoZ haircut in DBS, ESPECIALLY if they go past EoZ. That haircut was WAY more distinct in my opinion. I even have a headcanon as to WHY Goten finally decided to change up his look so he'd stop looking identical to his dad.

I'd like a more refined version of his GT hair. This is a picture I made of him the way I envision an adult Gohan. Don't mind the tiny symbol on his gi, that sucks, I know.

Gt goten. Gohan and Yamcha already pulled off that EOZ look, Gt has a unique design. I don't understand the people saying it looks like Vegetas hairstyle. Maybe Gohan's but it's distinct enough where it is its own thing.

EoZ is definitely the best, but I would actually prefer if Goten in EoZ looked exactly like Goku looks in the 23rd Budokai Tenkaichi Tournament.

I'm pretty sure Toriyama designed both, so that's the way he envisioned Goten developing.

That said I like his EoZ cut better but the GT also fits and works for his character. He's a teen who seems primarily interested in a Girl/Girls and wants to look cool. Nothing wrong with it other than it being a little bland but Goten doesn't seem like he's going out of his way to stand out either.

Now GT Trunks hair on the other hand...

For reference I love GT Vegeta and he seems to be much more acclimated to Earth life.
