So the Freeza fight won't drag too long then, nice.
I imagine the "connecting" episodes will be what happens in the 5 days before the tournament.

I don't think Vegeta is gonna get the same fight time as Goku. Probably 24,25,26 is Goku vs Freeza and 27 will be Vegeta and the planet exploding.
On the bright side at least they're not dragging out Goku's fight across 5 episodes like the BOG arc did.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

Doctor. wrote:Because Freeza came back? Y'know, that one guy Goku absolutely despises and killed a lot of his friends a couple of years ago. I assumed he would have been at least a bit annoyed when he came back. But nothing besides arrogance.
Goku isn't known for holding grudges, look at him with Tenshinhan, Piccolo, and Vegeta. Besides, that was a long time ago, and all the bad things Freeza had done to Goku have been undone with the Dragon Balls.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Are these the titles of episodes, because these look to be the ones that are half titles.

Presumably (if real, as always). The Jan 24th entry definitely mentions Hakaishin Champa.

The shortened titles:
January 17th: Gokuu's conclusive Kamehameha
January 24th: Arrival!! God of Destruction Champa
January 31st: Toward the era of a showdown between universes!!
That last one kind of suffers from not having the other half, since there's probably a way to make it flow better as a full title. But at least we know when Champa will start doing stuff (assuming these partial titles are legit, which they usually are). Just a few weeks to go!

A new Tweet was posted by the official Dragon Ball Super Twitter, it seems pretty important. Could someone kindly go through the trouble of translating it?
Here's the Tweet:
https://twitter.com/DB_super2015/status ... 5957214208
Judging by the translation feature on Twitter, it looks like the airing date for the next episode is on Friday. I could be totally wrong though.

It looks like we're getting the same ending that we got in the movie but if that's 27's title then hopefully Vgetea's fight will start in ep26 and go through half of 27.

That's when we're going to get the big announcement.

That's because you're probably translating the whole tweet at once and it's just slapping words wherever it wants. Breaking it down to cover the individual sentences, you get something akin to being "2 days away from the date the ban will be lifted on new Dragon Ball Super information".
Though that's still not as good as someone who properly knows what they are doing.
Still, I imagine the "big announcement" was just that the Champa Arc will be starting on 1/24. Since that already leaked, I don't imagine the date will really hold much significance anymore.

The first one says the new ending theme was revealed but there are more news to come. The second one is an anecdote about the person writing being in a hospital's waiting room and a kid he/she didn't know performed a Kamehame Ha on him/her and he/she just bowed/nodded his/her head, not knowing how to react, and was still thinking about it. The rest is a countdown to the 18th.
