Not to mention that it's probably his only original technique.

I remember liking the beginning of Movie 13 and then zoning out/getting bored when it became the Tapion and Kid Trunks show. I don't think my interest came back until the final chunk of battles at the end (Vegeta and the office building is the part of that I remember best).
On hiatus.

The Dragon Fist is a cool attack, but too bad it came out of nowhere. Maybe if they build it up to something cool then it would have work better IMO.

There's also the Janken. Plus, several variants of the Kamehameha are unique to him, like the tracking version he used against Freeza, the one he fired from his feet, and the bigger, more powerful one he used against Piccolo. And yes, those totally count as original moves; if they don't, no ki attack should since they're all based on the ki manipulation they learned.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Don't underestimate the goatee/stache combo. You go from boyishly handsome to RUGGED MAN in everyone's eyes.

Every successive day that Resurrection F is not on this list, my heart weeps a little bit more.

Other than that, loving it! :)

I like RoF. But it being higher than Movie 9, Yo!, Mystical Adventure and Sleeping Princess. That's what hurts.

Well, w/e. Opinions.

RoF is amazing and you're all haters.

I would personally put Fusion Reborn or World's Strongest next on this list. Dead Zone is my favorite of the original movies, and I think both of the specials and new films are the best "extra content" the series has to offer.

Well of course it's gonna be high on the list if not number 1, after all Kaiserneko is in the movie .

Resurrection F is above Mystical Adventure?!

When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Yes, that's how Roshi knew how to block it when he fought Goku.

I'm happy Bojack is so high up on the list. I really like that movie. More for what it could have been than what it actually is, but...you take what you can get. It's the only hint we ever get of things that take place in-between Cell and Majin Buu, where Goku is dead. One of the most interesting settings for Toei to explore.

Also, while the villains are bland, I really like how they work as a team in the final fight. It makes you feel like they've actually worked together and they care about each other. Somewhat.

The only things I hate about it are the Goku ex Machina and the fact that both the villains and Gohan himself are pretty bland.
I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

Sorry Gaffer, but Resurrection 'F' is just... one of the better movies to me. Or at the very least, far more entertaining.

It has wonderful character moments, the soldier-scene is one of the biggest spectacles in the entire series, some of the animation is the most beautiful the franchise has ever seen, the training with Whis is some of the finest actual examples of training in the series, and it continues to be one of the funnier films in the lineup. Jaco's inclusion helps, as again do the myriad of other wonderful character moments that help overshadow some... big flaws. Sure, the last half is utterly devoid of tension due to the inclusion of Beerus and Whis (could've just stayed at home, kids, and shown up at the last moment), the CG is absolutely terrible, Super Saiyan Blue is pointless, Gohan's power degradation is really questionable, and there's an argument about Goku being hit by Sorbet (though I think you can handwave that in A MILLION DIFFERENT WAYS). But considering it still has a better villain than 90% of the others on the list, it's got some fantastic action sequences, one of the finest Vegeta moments of all time, and it's just really entertaining on the whole? It think it earns the spot it does. ... which, y'know... make sure to tune in tomorrow.

Also, Gokua hotter that Bido? Pft, if you're into pretty boys with swords. ... Oh wait shit.
