Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.
...*head tilts so far to the side that neck snaps* Gah!
Okay, I apoligize in full for doubting you on this, nickzambuto. In my and others defense though, this just sounds completely implausible in all sorts of ways...and yet, here it is. Existing. Right before my very eyes.
...It's too early in the morning. I can't even properly process this. I, just...WOW.

Wow..this is Cringy. I mean, it's OK for the American market and for Funi's dub fans, but for others it's painful to watch.
I was expecting something else...and not a dubbed over scene (Well, technically is a Dub over a Dub) from the Anime.
Big Green: Do whateveryoulike, Ghos
Broly: haha He calls me a goohst, but IMMMD DA DEVVVVAAALLL! RAHAHAHAHA!

Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words? Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up! Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes! Cold World (Fanfic) "It ain't never too late to stop bein' a bitch." - Chad Lamont Butler
I got home late last night from the Star Wars movie and figured I'd Youtube the new kingdom hearts 3 trailer and that ad started playing and I was like wuuuut haha
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128 Still recording Toonami broadcasts on VHS after all these years! #1 Paikuhan fan!

I still haven’t lived down going, “Who the heck is Tao Pai-pai?” that one time I was talking with Ei’ichiro Oda-kun. But the fact that there are still people reading the series after all this time… All I can say is; “thank you.” Really, that’s all.

Kunzait_83 wrote:And if you're upset because all this new material completely invalidates the tabletop RPG rulebook-sized statistical system and flowchart for the characters' "canonical Power Levels" that you'd been working on painstakingly for the last bunch of years now... well I don't think there's a kind, non-blunt way of saying this, but that's 100% entirely your own misguided fault for buying so deeply into all this nonsensical garbage in the first place. And that you also have IMMENSELY skewed and comically backwards priorities in what you think is most important and needed to make a good Dragon Ball story.
Zephyr wrote:Goodness, they wrote idiotic drivel in a children's cartoon meant to advertise toys!? Again!? For the ninetieth episode in a row!? Somebody stop the presses! We have to voice our concern over these Super important issues!

Looks like they used the Orange Brick footage rather than the Kai ones. With the resurgence of the franchise since Resurrection 'F' came out, i'm sure the series popularity in North American and Japan would rise back up from the ashes.
EDIT: Did they utilize Nadolny's voice instead of Clinkenbeard's?

That's so killer, I don't even know what's possible or not possible for this franchise anymore. As far as I'm concerned literally anything is fair game at this point.

Sonny Strait confirmed it to be Colleen's voice.
Also, this exists. I'm still trying to wrap my head around that.
Master, the batteries inside your Wii Remote are nearly depleted.
Master, there is a 98% chance that the floor is beneath you.
You're not alone there. Every time my brain comes back to this, I have to remind myself that it's an actual thing that exists, not just the product of a daydream I had or something.
I...just...what even is this world.

Does it? It looks like season set Blu-ray to me. Which makes sense, since it needs to air in HD.
At least the guys at Ford wouldn't mind if they got permission from Toei Animation to use that footage in a legal way. Seeing a Dragon Ball-related ad in North America is rarer these days as in Japan which they advertise more (Discross, Heroes, Smiles for All, etc...)

Yeah this is the type of thing that you would see it back in 1997-2001 during the prime days of DBZ.
