The Freeza henchmen/Golden Freeza part lasts only during the "minohodo shirazu ni wa" part, just a few seconds. How are they going to introduce 6 new characters/a new arc in a creative way in those seconds?

I'm curious.
I honestly think they're going to redo a lot of the opening. Most of it only applies to the movie retellings. The opening doesn't have much of Piccolo or Buu, and everything about Goten, Trunks and Gohan seem a bit irrelevant. As well the part with Goku going Super Saiyan 3.
I could have gotten into anything...and yet I chose the story aimed at young Japanese boys about martial arts, and later about super-powerful aliens punching each other really hard.

I feel you mate, just watched it as well, as much as how freaking boring the premise is the animation was just amazing, I have no words to describe how epic the animation was.
That's what's so amazing about it. The premise sounds like something I would absolutely hate, and yet the whole series is amazing. If we're lucky maybe we'll get more animation like that one part with Goku fighting Beerus that was actually good, and I do mean only one part since the rest of the fight sucked.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Its a weird feeling for me.... first time I liked a series because of pure animation only and actually not like how the story goes. Heh we can dream, that one part of Goku V Beerus was the only part that seriously made me happy, I was like (yeah, this is the fcking animation that Dragon ball deserves!) wait we are talking about the ep 13 after the long first part clash fight right?

I still think episode #11 is one of the best Dragon Ball episodes of all time (if not THE best, but that's something I can't say without properly analyzing and critiquing all the rest) and all of the other Super episodes should strive to become something like it.

Episode #11 was great, but I think you're overreacting too much, sometimes I even think that you like to diss the main series just to play the different one in this forum. Not saying that DB/Z anime was perfect anyway.

Just because I don't consider Dragon Ball's anime adaptations to be good, doesn't mean I consider Super a good series either.

Or it could be the usual hyped up summary, and they end up just talking about Champa XD. I hope not though, because then pacing would make much more sense.

Well if that's true. that will be a good surprise for everyone. No one was expecting that.

Hum, this makes me think if the summary is infact true, then why they did not show them in the preview. It would have hyped people for next episode, maybe its just a small scene.

Their debut was also a small scene and they were in the preview.
With the ratings decreasing, they should play their cards right to make people interested in this retelling.

The NEP itself is not even interesting. 30 seconds long and 20 seconds are SSB Goku/Goden Freeza throwing ki blasts. Strange decision, if they will really appear.

They will definitely appear, not just being talked about. That blurb is called "This week's Champa", like when the first episodes usually had a B plot. I don't see it being anything more than a small scene, though, by reasons of time that were already pointed out.

Evening lads,

Maybe it's going to be the scene from the Manga where he drops in to see the Kais? Maybe when Beerus is on Earth watching the fight?

It says he's meeting with Beerus and Whis before they go to Earth.

Oh wow so if beerus does arrive in this version, Freeza and goku must be fighting really slow.

I'm curious to see how this scene fits into the whole thing. Maybe Champa is just checking out on Beerus? then Beerus goes to Earth, Champa realizes he's distracted and goes to search for the SDB's, leading up to the events with the Namek Dragon Balls in episode 26.

Anyway, there's a good chance we'll see that scene from the first teaser.

Nice! I'm really enjoying some of the Super tracks. Might be a silly question, but will the soundtrack contain tracks from the two arcs?

^I don't think the details are released yet. The release date is the same day as the Compilation Album tweeted about last week.

It might be intentional, the page points out they are released on the same day.

It also seems the compilation album will have 2 discs and have a limited edition with a DVD included.
