That is true, but by the same token, Broli is not a "canonical" character, or if you prefer, he's not a "Toriyama continuity" character. The discussion was in regards of a new half Super Saiyan, half God for, for example, Goku.

But I guess you can consider those as new Saiyan transformations, yes. But I think these forms are too fresh and whoever is designing them is waiting to see what Toriyama does first.
Yes, I agree.

This is true, the forms no. But Broly version of transformations seems a "Legendary Transformations". They maintain the characteristics of his legendary form and perhaps it could be named as: Legendary Super Saiyan 3, Legendary Super Saiyan 4, Legendary Golden Ohzaru...

The thing is though, they could have named the forms with the "Legendary" moniker if they wanted to, but they didn't. For all intents and purposes, regardless of anyone's personal beliefs on the matter or the questionable design intentions (which don't only apply to Broli), his newer transformations are technically just the regular version said forms.

Well, at this point you can argue that "Legendary Super Saiyan" is just Broli's version of Super Saiyan 2.
In fact, that card that claims to be a Super Saiyan 2 Broli just shows a regular "Legendary" Super Saiyan Broli anyway.

That point becomes kinda meaningless when half the new SS2 characters in Heroes just recycle their SS hair.

Supposedly Goku named Broly Legendary Super Saiyan 3 in a TV Spot for DB Raging Blast.

One promotional blurb in a commercial does not override the dozen upon dozens of other merchandise statements to the contrary. That's a outlier, and a questionable one at that.

Neither these dozens of merchandising override this nomenclature. It's a term that exists, simply. Another way to call the transformation of the character. And that shows a little that they, the creators, think about it. Maybe they decided not to use in games because it's a long name, as it has happened with SSGSS, or something like that, haha.

Yes. The term exists...within the confines of that commercial. He is never referred to as such in the game itself, or anything else thereafter. Or before, actually. He originally debuted in Dragon Battlers as "Super Saiyan 3 Broli". They didn't call him "Legendary Super Saiyan 3" in the Raging Bast trailer and then drop "Legendary" from the title because of length before his official release.

Not to mention adding a number onto "伝説の超サイヤ人" would hardly break the character limit in most merchandise.

Will Yamhan (Tiencha) ever appear in Heroes? I mean Gotan (Gokule) show up in Heroes a while back and he was from Budokai 2. Heroes uses the same game engine from Budokai 2 and Budokai 3.

Makes it sound like they had GDM7 info you could look at, but they prohibited pictures because things weren't finalized and they didn't want beta records.
I feel like this design would have been fine if they left him alone from the waist down and just keep the gold additions to his upper torso.

It's the yellow "jumpsuit" that makes it terrible. It would have looked a lot better if they if they had left the portion that makes up his "Misty outfit" alone, or at least went with another color (Black like Vegeta, Blue like Janenba, etc). The yellow in that spot just clashes with the rest of his coloration so, so bad.

These are questions we posed five years ago by the beginning of Heroes and obviously have no answer. Gotan actually originates from the manga and the model featured on Heroes is slightly more accurate than the Budokai 2 one. So far, no exclusive Budokai 2 models have been used at all. Or any other game for that matter.

So, since Chronoa is the Time Kaioshin before she became a Kaioshin, I guess this means that the Kaios & Kaioshins have names?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Plot twist: Demigra is Chronoa's brother.

Brother....might be stretch. Remember, the humanoid form isn't Demigra's original self. =P

Anyway...

Image

There are some possibly questionable aspects to the image, but I had Herms look over the text at least and he says it doesn't really seem to be a fake done via google or anything. Still, not confirmed until further info.

Hey, be careful before Dimps proves you wrong AGAIN! :D

I'm really looking forward to seeing more of the SSJG avatars. The one with the Raditz style hair (Berserker?) with the SSJG transformation is going to look SICK!
