I just start playing this game. How do I unlock more characters?

I assume you're playing the International version, right?

There's 5 ways:

Friend Summon (uses Friend Points)
Stone Summon (uses Dragon Stones, I'd recommend only use it when rates are higher)
Events (they rotate so you'll eventually have them all)
Gifts (this rarely happens, so don't count on it )
Tenkaichi Budoukai

By doing Quests, you can only get Artificial Human 13 when you reach the Stage he's at.

I don't know what's currently happening in the International server but you'd better increase your rank so you have more stamina and don't need to stop as often. I'd recommend only spending Stones to refill stamina in the Tenkaichi Budoukai (if you like the prizes), in Summoning ONLY when rates are high and to increase Character slots if you really, reeeealllyyyyy need them. Otherwise save them because you'll want as many as you can.

Rainbow letters do not give you the scouter characters. I can confirm this. I got rainbow letters when it said release last night for the SSJ3 Goku event. I released, the images of Goku happened, it went all the way up to SSJ3, and I got SSJ AGL Goku. I already had that card, so I just upgraded the super attack of my first one. Then, I pulled it just now, had rainbow letters for release, Goku went up to SSJ2, and I got SSJ2 TEQ Goku.

So, I'm currently trying to go for the 80 victories in the Tenkaichi Budoukai. I already have 40 and there's 24/25 hours left. I'm also between rank 5000 and 6000, yay!

I've also been using the tickets for the Boyhood Gasha and got two SSR from it: Goku (Kid) and Piccolo Daimaou (Old) Interesting enough, for Piccolo Daimaou I had the rainbow letters and normal Goku all the way. When the Kamehame Ha hit the planet/comet, the screen "glass" broke and Cell arc Goku appeared saying "bye bye, everyone" and I got Daimaou :3

For kid Goku, Goku went up to SS3 (first time I've seen it).

So, the Tenkaichi Budoukai ended in the Japanese server and I ranked 4546 , with 85 wins. In total, I won 5 SSR: PHY Ultimate Gohan, STR SSGSS Vegeta, STR Goku (Kid), INT Piccolo Daimaou (Old) and the tournament-limited INT Super Saiyajin Goku.

From December 22nd onwards, the base rate for SR and SSR characters in the Rare Gasha have been increased three-fold. Every campaign from now on will stack with the new rates.

Hey, so, what do the Saiyan pods mean in the summoning animations? I usually get a max of 4 pods that fly by. Also, if there are no pods, it's Mr. Satan flying into the portal.

This is for the Global version, not japanese.

Saiyan Pods You'll encounter these the most when doing summons. You can end up getting a total of 5 pods. The more pods, the higher chance of SSR. HOWEVER, from rerolling I've noticed I get SSJ a lot more often when there are less pods. When there is only 1 pod he USUALLY goes SSJ. With 1 pod most of the time he only goes SSJ1. With 5 pods he USUALLY DOESN'T go SSJ but when he does, it's usually SSJ2 or SSJ3.

While summoning Goku can go SSJ...

Hercule On The Right Side A lot more common than Hercule on the left for sure. With him pretty much anything can happen. However I seem to get rainbow and SSJ very often with him. I can't even tell you what's most common with him.

Hercule On The Left I've had better luck with him on the left side on JP than the right but on GLB.... I haven't noticed a difference. I'll definitely update this post if I do notice, but it seems to be the exact same as Hercule on the right side. I'm not sure if this is coincidence but I've gotten the IT'S OVER!!!! FREEZA!!! screen most of the time when Hercule was on the left side.

Rainbow Pull I think rainbow means higher chance to pull a featured character. However I think rainbow also means higher chance of Goku going SSJ. For the most part, Goku goes SSJ when I get rainbow text. Also ALMOST ALL MY PULLS WHERE GOKU WENT SSJ3, WERE RAINBOW PULLS.

BYE, GUYS Extremely rare screen. It means Guaranteed SSR sooo.... WOOHOO! If you get rainbow text in base form or SSJ1 THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE for this screen to appear. I haven't seen this screen when Goku goes SSJ2 so I can't comment on that as of yet. Surely not on SSJ3 since that's already a guaranteed SSR XD.

IT'S OVER!!!! FREEZA!!! This screen means GUARANTEED SR. This screen is also rare like the BYE, GUYS screen, but it appears when Goku launches his kamehameha in base form!

What's the It's over! Freeza! screen look like? Is it him doing that pose right before he decks Freeza when he first goes SSJ?

They just sent out all the prizes. I ranked in the top 4000. Used mySSR tickets and got SSJ3 Goku, then used the money and medals to awaken him. I also used the 2 old kais to raise his super. LIfe is good right now fam.
